Donald Trump's Business Plan Left a Trail of Unpaid Bills (WSJ-RINO Hit Piece)
Wall Street Journal ^ | 06/09/2016 | Alexandra Berzon

Donald Trump often boasts on the presidential campaign trail that hardball tactics helped make him a successful businessman, an approach many voters say they admire. Those tactics have also left behind bitter tales among business owners who say he shortchanged them.

A review of court filings from jurisdictions in 33 states, along with interviews with business people, real-estate executives and others, shows a pattern over Mr. Trump’s 40-year career of his sometimes refusing to pay what some business owners said Trump companies owed them.

A chandelier shop, a curtain maker, a lawyer and others have said Mr. Trump’s companies agreed to buy goods and services, then reneged when some or all were delivered....

Trump DOES have a reputation for short paying bills

Please provide a list of the businesses affected otherwise, please post a picture of your paycheck from George Soros that you earn from the trolling sites you are assigned to post to.

It’s called price negotiation.

There may have been an original contracted price, but for various reasons, having to do with the terms of the contract, the actual bill may be submitted for some figure different from the contracted price. If it is for less, both parties have concluded a deal that was highly efficient, in market terms. But if the bill submitted for some figure that the purchaser of those goods or services considers to be of more than value received, because of missed deadlines, of lesser quality than agreed upon, or for just cost overruns not specified in the contract, then there is a great likelihood of the deal going to either adjudication or civil court.

Or sometimes the contracts are written with a number of the clauses in invisible ink, or ink that disappears once it is dried. That is a hot potato that nobody wants to get caught with.

But I would expect a good many of these disputes fall into that last category.

For every successful business venture there are five that aren’t.

The more business ventures you are involved in, the more failures you are involved in, and the more successes.

It’s not sinister, and it’s not rocket science.

“Lets just say personal knowledge. From multiple, trusted sources.”

Yep....just like those Democrats or GOP RINO’s and the ENEmedia who say the same. Either you name your sources or stifle it...I have it on good sources who I can’t name that Jennifer Anniston has the hots for you. No really, I’m serious....it’s true.

I’ve looked into this before. What happens in Trump’s case is the opposite of vendor’s dropping him. When people do inferior work for him, he refuses to pay them or he only pays them a portion of their bill (with the justification that fixing their mistakes is going to cost him money). He then typically refuses to do business with them again, and they probably wouldn’t care to work for him again either. Don Jr. explained this price adjustment based on numbers of screwups before in an interview that I remember.

By the accounts that I’ve seen, Trump promptly pays in full contractors and other businesses who provide quality work or goods. They leave happy, and he comes back to them again with more work in the future, because he now knows he can rely on them, as they know they can rely on him. Hence, he has no problem getting contractors and suppliers to work for him.

Naturally, as was recently reported, Trump has won the vast, vast majority of the law suits filed against him, which wouldn’t be the case if the people accusing him had a leg to stand on. Understandably, these people’s take on their experience with Trump is quite a bit more negative (nobody likes to admit that they screwed up and did crappy work, so of course they will come up with other excuses), and some people will unfortunately believe them.

Hey Iceman, ping me if this toad ever gives you a list. I’ve seen him spreading this crap all over the place in the past. It’s the sly little ‘I know a guy who knew a guy who happens to be my guy and yep, I know the truth’.

Such a freakin little worm with no context and/or understanding of how this works in reality.

Heck, even little old me tossed a contractor off my property, refused to pay him and WON. Crap work = non payment. End of story.

I’m not completely sure about this, but I believe it’s quite possible that the Dems have unpaid bills from the Hubert Humphrey campaign of 1968.

Again, I’m not 100% sure about it, but if the bills were paid off, (1)I missed the news blurb about it; and (2)if the bills were indeed paid off, it took them the longest time to pay them. I know that for sure!

CA....

Radio host Ben Shapiro who is always reminding everyone he is a graduate of UCLA and Harvard Law School has been saying that Donald Trump is corrupt like Hillary Clinton. He is supposedly a conservative.

I do not know how he can even come up with that comparison.
Meanwhile his co-worker Brian Whitman puts Clinton on a corruption scale of 5 of 10....... He says he will vote for her.

I have renovated several properties. Everyone I knew in the house-renovation game knew that when it comes to contractors, you have to hold some money back at the end to make them finish all corrections. They then scream that you are not paying your bills. But they want to go on to the next job and leave messes behind.

Trump did what was allowed by law. Clinton breaks the law. If this country were run like a business we would be in clover. I mean, 20 trillion debt? In what universe does that make sense?

We NEED Trump!

Saw this.

I remember an interview with Trump on P Diddy launching a Cadillac, I think. Trump specifically mentioned that P Diddy had an eye for details, which Trump said is rare.

That set of comments stuck with me. His eye for detail shows in the pictures from his hotels. It’s in the details that you see quality.

And...if you hire someone to do a job and they don’t do it to your satisfaction, you don’t pay up until they get it right. Goes for anyone.

So, THAT’s how he made his billions — he didn’t pay for the chandeliers. Got to take note of that for my business plan.
