You mean like they inconvenience us at TSA checkpoints?
To: SJackson
Right....because the horrific attack on the Israelis, by the Palestinians, caused no inconvenience whatsoever.
What a moronic statement, from the St Dept. Jeez.

We understand the Israeli Governments desire to protect its citizens after this kind of terrorist attack, and we strongly support that right. But we would hope that any measures it takes would also take into consideration the impact on Palestinian civilians who are just trying to go about their daily lives.”
Oxymoronic statement award.

How were the terrorists dressed?
Were they in uniform?
Or did they look like civilians?

I saw the security footage of the murder...it was horrendous...Israel has A right to defend itself...screw whatever the State Department says!
To: SJackson
Sorry, State Department, Israel has no intention of adopting our TSA model of profiling stuff instead of people. They tend to value the lives of their citizens over avoiding hurt feelings because some favored group felt like they got ‘profiled.’

Unmitigated gall.
If a neighbor across the street had a child killed by a Muslim - or a person of any other racial or religious identity - one would never consider adding any concern about retaliations against others from that group when you expressed your condolences.
This is no different.

Newly appointed Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman also announced that Israel would stop returning the bodies of Palestinian attackers to their families for burial. Send 'em back, but first wrap the bodies in pig entrails.

Headline is misleading and does not match State Dept quote in article here:
"We understand the Israeli Governments desire to protect its citizens after this kind of terrorist attack, and we strongly support that right. But we would hope that any measures it takes would also take into consideration the impact on Palestinian civilians who are just trying to go about their daily lives, Toner said in a press conference.
