Philadelphia is the latest major school system to add Muslim holidays to its official calendar, but Americans with school-age children still aren’t sure that’s such a good idea, although support's up from a year ago.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 50% of American Adults with children of elementary or secondary school age oppose adding major Muslim holidays to the public school calendar in their community. And I’m sure you know that will never happen. It is worth saying though.
Patriots, beware of a double-standard with school holidays. These days many schools are nothing more than socialist indoctrination centers. So instead of being concerned about closing schools for Muslim holidays, communities should arguably be considering closing schools permanently and seeking other options.
And let’s face it. Many working parents are using school primarily as a babysitting service, a child’s education, if your child is actually getting educated, being a side-benefit.
Okay, what about Hindus, Buddhists, wiccans, etc.................
So what will be the official Atheist holiday? Lenin’s Birthday?

Just realized it’s been at least a year or so since Big Media trotted out the “{Some large percentage} of Americans actually still erroneously believe Obama is a muslim”.
And now even the names have changed. Instead of Christmas break or Easter break, it’s Winter break and Spring break. We used to have Good Friday on my work calendar, but a couple of years ago it was changed to Spring Holiday.
