So why was San Joses police department so bad in controlling the anti-Trump riots this week? Turns out Mayor Sam Liccardo gave the police a stand down order during the riots. Sam Liccardo is a card carrying Hillary Clinton supporter and far left nut job. San Jose is a shit hole, so now it all makes perfect sense. LIccardo had the nerve to blame the victims of mob attacks after a Trump speech, a lot of whom were waving Mexican flags.

Weve all seen the story about the woman who was egged and had bottles thrown at her. But the media is awfully silent on the gay Hispanic named Juan Hernandez.
San Jose is a suburb of San Francisco, so no one should really be surprised this happened, or that corrupt Democrat Sam Liccardo gave police the stand down order. This is Northern California at its finest. Its not called the Silicon Valley for nothing. Just look at all the silicon in Nancy Pelosis face. Maxim S I would suggest to you, Mr. Liccardo, that your main budgetary consideration should be to determine how much of the budget will need to be set aside to compensate all of the people who were injured and suffered property damage as a result of the mayor’...See More

Sam Liccardo Maxim, since you apparently live in Los Angeles, we’ll focus on feedback from our own residents, who pay taxes here. Regarding persons harmed on Thursday night, our City Manager reported that three individuals were given EMS attention at the site, and suffered minor abrasions, and all three declined any transport to the hospital or additional medical attention.

Maxim S Mr. Liccardo, I think you are an obscurantist. A casual glance at any newspaper - national or international - would inform you that many more people were attacked and assaulted than you seem to think. I will never forget your heartless and callous attitude towards the violence being inflicted on innocent civilians in your city with your tacit approval.

Roger W Sam Liccardo , I am a San Jose resident. I thought the handling of the situation by the police was totally unacceptable. They made no effort to stop the attacks or make any arrests on the spot. You even blamed the incident on Trump. People attending the event had every right to feel safe to express their free speech. Unfortunately, San Jose leadership failed to deliver that support.

Sam Liccardo Maxim S yes, several news accounts would inaccurately suggest that, particularly if you’re focused only on specific news sources that don’t actually have reporters in San Jose, and are relying on blogs and talk radio. Sadly, we’ve seen a lot of hyperbole from the news about these events, but I doubt that you saw from Los Angeles that SJPD just made 4 more arrests in this instance. http://www.mercurynews.com/crime-courts/ci_29989192/donald-trump-san-jose-police-identify-four-suspects
