We have to do something to unite ourselves and win this truly watershed election. I was not a supporter of Trump from the beginning but he is now our candidate and he has some very good ideas. We have no other choice but to make the best of it and hold him accountable for his future directions

The Republic Party national, also in California, and I presume elsewhere, would rather have a liberal Democrat than a real conservative in any leadership position. They are as much the enemy to this country and our future as these socialist liberal Democrats.
I am disgusted by these supposed ‘conservatives’ who would rather have Jerry Brown or Hillary Clinton, and others, than a true conservative.
I am too old and too tired to offer much help but somehow someway we have to find a way to isolate these Republican scumbags where they can no longer cause harm.

I always suspected that Michael Medved had a hand in some of them. But it’s just a guess.

I don’t know, but I don’t think either of them did. You may be thinking of David Frum, a fellow neo-con and now leftie who wrote a lot of Bush’s speeches.
I have joined the e-mail/text list for the Trump campaign. I not only will VOTE for Mr. Trump in November, but also will help if needed.

People either forget or don’t know that in 1984 Charles Krauthammer was a speechwriter for Walter Mondale, attempting to defeat Ronald Reagan’s election for a second term.
Krauthammer is an opportunist of the highest order, like so many of his neoconservative comrades.

You are exactly right. I've observed that that so called "Conservative Thought Leaders" turned around to rally the base for this election cycle and discovered they weren't leading anyone. Jeb is a perfect illustration. He accepted the mantle of being their chosen one and ran in opposition to the base on many issues. How arrogant and misguided was that?
But Mr. French was really good with Jodi and Buffy.
Frum certainly took public credit and he deserves the blame. My suspicion about Medved playing a role is just a hunch gleaned from listening to him over the years. A lot of that Salem Radio crew were tight with the Dubya administration and Medved is a speech writer. It’s just a guess on my part.
