We'll not beat around the bush. We'll give it to you straight: The Democrat leadership, the top of the heap, those who trumpet out the marching orders to their zombie-like followers have finally let the cat out of the bag. Shamelessly, boldly and without a second thought, they have placed Israel in the cross hairs by welcoming into their Platform Committee the radical selectees of Bernie Sanders. With this move, they have, heads held high, finally come crashing out of the closet and aligned themselves and the Party with an anti-Israel scenario.
Bernie Sanders whom many Left of Center Jews proudly proclaimed was the first Jewish candidate to run for a presidential nomination has finally shown just how "Jewish and pro-Israel" he really is. His appointees to the influential decision making group include three of the top anti-Israel advocates in the country. They are, professor Cornell West, James Zogby and Keith Ellison. We'll take them one at a time. In West's words: "Benjamin Netanyahu is a war criminal because he has chosen to promote occupation and human annihilation." Zogby, the head of the Arab American Institute has said: "So What should the U.S. do with Israel? If they are a friend and an ally we value, we tell them the truth. Tell them that their behavior is unacceptable and is only making the world more dangerous for us all." And Keith Ellison, the first Muslim elected to Congress and a former CAIR and Nation of Islam official in a 2014 Washington Post op-ed entitled, "End the Gaza Blockade to Achieve Peace," wrote the following: "Gazan children blown up on the beach. A U.N. shelter hit. I have traveled to Gaza three times since 2009 and have visited hospitals and schools there. I have not encountered anyone representing HAMAS." Ellison boycotted Netanyahu's speech to Congress and also voted against the funding of the Iron Dome project. So, these three guys, all focused on punishing Israel will be writing that section of the platform for the Democrat Party. And you know what that will look like.
But sadly, Israel bashing is not new to The Party. Back in 2012 at the Democrat National Convention when the Dems took heat for eliminating any reference to Jerusalem being recognized as the capital of Israel, three voice votes to add that language back into their platform, taken from the floor delegates, were roundly shouted down. An embarrassed convention chairman finally falsely claimed the vote had passed.
As comparison, here are excerpts from the Republican Platform as it relates to Israel and Palestine.
"The Palestinian people must support leaders who reject terror, embrace the institutions and ethos of democracy and respect the rule of law......Israel should not be expected to negotiate with entities pledged to her destruction...radical elements like Hamas and Hezbollah must be isolated because they do not meet the standards of peace and diplomacy of the international community....We support Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state with secure, defensible borders; and we envision two democratic states...Israel with Jerusalem as its capital, living in peace and security."
We'll conclude with Donald Trump's succinct and to the point statement: "When I become President, the days of treating Israel like a second-class citizen will end on day one." We would like to see a comparable statement from the Democrat contenders or their party. And since we won't, that's why we support Trump and his party. And so should you.

That’s a very good question. And when will the Republican nominee for President break 40%. The only time in modern history that happened was in 1972.
