The former secretary of state and Democratic frontrunner says she still encounters sexism on the campaign trail even on the rope line.
Hillary Clinton says while sexism on the campaign trail is not as severe as it was in 2008 when she first ran for president, it still lingers - even in her encounters with would-be supporters.

She also said that men fear ambitious women like her. "I think it's the competition," Clinton said. "Like, if you do this, there won't be room for some of us, and thats not fair."

Male *or* female
I have a very difficult time believing there are more than a handful of people who think that a woman shouldn’t be President. I think the number of people who would say that to her face is even lower.
Now, if she is misunderstanding the comment, “I cannot vote for THAT woman”, she would be more accurate.
Obama’s and Brown’s popularity, CA’s success, now this—the MSM is running at Ludicrous speed today.
On the rope line? Those people are her supporters. They may have endorsed her or given her money.
And if they didn't, if they weren't important, she was probably rushed past them so fast that they wouldn't have time to get out the fifteen words.
Plus, it's so noisy at those events that it would be difficult to hear and would probably take more time to get the words out and have them heard than she would ever give to any random individuals at her events.
It would be funny to see her reaction if somebody actually said that, but it's highly unlikely that anyone ever did.
The Hillary Victim card? Poor Hillary, no one wants to understand how great she is. She’ll end up singing “Don’t cry for me Amerika.”
The BS is strong with this one.
I really doubt that she can pull off the straw dog nonsense that Obama regularly uses.
I think she got it backwards, People are really saying, “I can vote for a woman, but I don’t like you.”
I could have voted for Carly Fiorina whether against Sanders or Clinton or O’Malley.
I can’t vote for a raving Socialist or conniving crony socialist, regardless of demographics.
That’s not sexism - that’s common sense.
Hillary isn’t even a grandma you want to vote for.
Many more people say, “I really dislike you but I would in theory vote for a woman (e.g. Sarah Palin).”
No one except the seriously mentally ill might make such a statement to this chronic liar and life-long criminal. As usual, this fat old hag lies. I laugh at her desperation.
The bitch is delusional. She’s a loser!
She mis-heard it. What was really said, was: I really like women, but I just can’t vote for you, you traitorous b**ch.
Complete, total, unadulterated, pure, utter, grade A, choice, bovine excrement. I challenge Hillary to introduce one single person who says what she claims.
I think that its more like . “I have always voted for a democrat but I just don’t think I can vote for a criminal”
most of the sanders supporters have this going through there head.
