Germany is ready to take on a bigger military role to maintain global security, according to a government white paper. The draft document indicates a possible shift away from Germanys postwar era of military restraint.
The governments position paper on security policy, seen by media outlets on Friday, said Germany was increasingly seen as a key player in Europe, and had a responsibility to actively help shape the global order.
It added that Germany could do more at a time when the global community was grappling with threats including terrorism waged by Islamic State, cybercrime and a more aggressive Russia. At the same time, however, the paper pointed out that there would be clear limits to Berlins contribution.

German military in a boosted role world wide? History says this will not end well.
There are a lot more Germans than there are Muslims. The Germans just are not angry enough yet.
My guess this is all about the EU army they are planning to put together.
Germany?
That country now over-run with Muslims?
And the percentage of German military who are Muslim?
Germany—one of the 10 member nations of the former WEU (a military alliance) that has been incorporated into the EU.
They are: Belgium, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands & the UK (a five-nation mutual defense alliance that was founded at the end of WW2, 3-17-48, Brussels Treaty); Germany and Italy (added under the modified Brussels treaty, a military alliance born on 10-23-54, known as the Western European Union); and Portugal, Spain and Greece, later allowed to join the WEU.
I believe your guess is correct.
Uh-oh.
What democracies are you talking about?
They’ve been taking over the Netherlands’ military by degrees of late. They have even made inroads on Switzerland’s military. Among the so-called “far right” are pan-Germanist elements.

Unbelievers will be comfortable with eternal punishment, commensurate with their sins.

Thanks, Muhammad.

Muhammad Appears to be your guy!
He doesn’t believe either.
Obsession with unbelievers and prophecy is the hallmark of Islam, so maybe you ought to take a good long hard look in the mirror and ask yourself what you have really become.
.
No, lack of belief in Yehova and his infallible word is the hallmark of islam and of thoughtomator.
You must be loads of fun at parties.
Germany and Japan, as I clearly stated.
Where are they “democracies”? Japan is a constitutional monarchy and Germany is a (socialistic) republic in name only.
Not that “democracy” is the ideal form of government, should either country look at same. The Communist Manifesto stated “win(ning) the battle of democracy” as an imperative, in its second chapter, so no such battle ought to be allowed to take place.
I intended the word democracy to mean ‘free countries.’
Feel free to pick nits if it gets you off.
OK, I agree, relatively free, until you scrutinize their constitutions a bit, even with MacArthur having a hand in the Japanese one, which is admittedly more free than the Grundgesetz as it stands but still has some socialistic tenets (such as in Article 25).
It really is sad that Abe Shinzou is out to subvert both Articles 9 and 20.
Sure. Whatever.
