Libertarians on Sunday selected former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson as their party's presidential nominee, at their party convention in Orlando, Florida.
"At a minimum, I think we're in the presidential debates," Johnson said to cheers.
Sarwark said the party had established a "back channel" to the Koch brothers, in the hopes the wealthy libertarian-leaning funders donate to the Libertarian Party. Sarwark also said he had been speaking to Matt Kibbe, former president of conservative advocacy group Freedomworks, about supporting the party's nominee.
Johnson received almost 1 percent of the general election vote in 2012
A recent national poll had Johnson receiving 10 percent of support from registered voters,
Another national poll showed 44 percent of registered voters would want a third party to run against Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee, and Hillary Clinton, the likely Democratic nominee.

Anybody here supporting, donating or voting for the Libertarian party candidate should just be honest and admit they want to elect Hillary Clinton as president, because that will be the consequence of those actions.
The bottom line is: support Trump or get Hillary.

Before the libertarian convention I was 85% for Trump, now I am 100% for Trump.

I have a small "l" Libertarian streak in me a mile wide. That said, Gary Johnson is a complete, total, 200% knucklehead!
The ONLY reason the MSM is giving him any coverage is that they think it will hurt Trump.
While the LP has some great ideas, it also has some bad ones. IMO Johnson represents the LPe and those bad ideas.

He’s not libertarian anyway. That’s not his record, as I understand it.

When you said :” Libertarian = open borders”, you are absolutely correct.
From the article:
“When it came to Trump, Johnson got fired up and said the presumptive Republican nominee’s immigration policies are “just racist.”

The Libertarian party has never been even close to what I consider being libertarian-it is more like the party of I-make-a-profit-at-everyone’s-expense-that doesn’t sound like real liberty for everyone to me-it sounds like the few financially manipulating everything-I thought that was what we were tired of...

Actions have consequences.
People need to assess the consequences of their actions.
Anyone who claims or thinks they are conservative, yet vote for third party, instead of supporting the R nominee who has a chance to beat the Dem, is indeed helping the Dem become president.
