Washington (CNN) — Donald Trump on Saturday questioned why President Barack Obama didn't mention the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor during his trip this week to Japan.

"Does President Obama ever discuss the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor while he's in Japan? Thousands of American lives lost. #MDW," tweeted Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee.

Think about this: if the Pacific War had been the opposite (US bombs a Japanese Pearl Harbor, US conducts the Bataan Death March where Japanese prisoners die, and Japan drops the A-bomb on us), Obama would make a speech in the US explaining how the A-Bomb was an unavoidable tragedy, but not nearly as bad as the atrocities committed by our nation at Pearl Harbor, the Philippines, etc.
