Or, the Catholic church eliminated the 2nd Commandment from God's Word, and then made two seperate commandments out of the 10th in order for them to add up to 10.

Remember that you are quoting from the old law (OT).

Jesus changed all that is Matthew. Jesus fulfills the old law. He is the New Covenant.
