"Beware snake oil salesman 'Lyin' Ted" Cruz."

You’re really avoiding the issue.
Are you pro-choice or pro-life?
You.
You think abortion is ok or you don’t.
So you are pro-abortion.
Stone is for dropping pro-life planks in the platform and making the Republican Party pro-abortionThe Republican party, including sitting Governors are already pro-abortion. They only oppose abortions after 20 weeks.
"You are siding with this, if you are not fully cogniscent[sic] of that fact".
And that's a reason to advocate for the continued killing of babies? That makes lot's of sense, champ.
And your point?
You’re either for killing babies or you’re not. Take a pick.
I am pro-life, and no, I don’t think abortion is okay.
And I’m not avoiding the issue.
I said I am for throwing out the entire platform, because it’s all lies, and I’m pretty darn sure that includes the plank that you are asking about about.
And I’ll tell you what was really funny.
When Trump said if abortion is made illegal should women be punished for having abortions, and he said yes.
And then a whole bunch of “pro-life” GOP types threw a fit and exposed themselves as total phonies.
The GOP and its plank is not relevant at all to the matter of abortion.
They are obvious liars, and that has nothing to do with my personal position on the matter, so you can stop asking me about it, especially since I’ve answered you directly.
Stuff it.
Ted is not going down without a fight. He is not living in reality for him accept that he LOST.
Whatever.
It’s his ex-wife. I don’t see his name. Did I miss it?
Isn’t Trump just proposing what Reagan had in place on the party’s plank position on abortion when he was President?
Reagan’s plank had abortion illegal EXCEPT for cases of Rape, Incest or if the mother’s life was in danger if she carried the baby to term.
Trump is proposing the same abortion plank position as Reagan’s. Don’t know why Cruz and others would have a problem with something that Reagan proposed.
Thanks for answering directly.
I don’t think what you say makes much sense, but ok.
I cannot contain my contempt for this presumptuous foreigner. He makes Texas looks real bad. I hope that the veil over their eyes is rent soon.
Are you trying to claim Stone is pro-life?
I don’t know what he is. You cited an article verifying his membership in Repubs for Choice, and I saw no mention of him, only of his ex-wife. Do you have more to add to this?
I’ll take you at face value as sincere in not knowing.

Roger Stone, a leading Republican and longtime associate of Mr. Atwater, is advising the new abortion rights group. Mr. Stone, who is married to Ann Stone, said the party faced serious electoral consequences if it did not ease its stance on the issue. He said implacable opposition to abortion could drive young people and women out of the party.
‘Barry Goldwater Conservatism’
He also argued that an abortion-rights stance was in keeping with the conservative tradition.
‘’I think you can be pro-choice and respect life,’’ he said. ‘’I think that reflects the view of most Republicans. And I believe this is a clear issue of government interference into our private lives. As far as I’m concerned, that’s basic, Barry Goldwater conservatism.’’
Ms. Stone said the group already had almost 200 elected officials signed on to its advisory board. Among them, the group said, are Representatives Nancy L. Johnson of Connecticut, Jim Kolbe of Arizona, Ronald K. Machtley of Rhode Island and Tom Campbell of California.

I was a Ted Cruz supporter early on before switching to Trump after he appeared disingenuous on multiple occasions,
He had many more viable years to build a strong base and credentials,
Honestly he could’ve played it cool in a manner where he played hardball and yet at the end of the day was still a viable VP prospect, Supreme Court nominee and/or future Republican successor to Trump down the road,
He really burnt his bridges, not at all smart and leads one to have to reconcile that odd behavior and when you do, where it leads aint a good place,
Or you are in favor of saving those you can by compromising a bit. A complete ban on abortion is never going to happen, period. It is better to, at this point, advocate restrictions based of time until term, age and medical issues.
I would rather save 95% of the children aborted than save none of them. Yes that is a bargain that is unpalatable but at this time is the best that can be hoped for.
The Democratic position is to have an abortion at any time, for any reason, at any point in the pregnancy, and paid for by the government.
