The 15-year-old girl had only been a student at South Fort Myers High School in Fort Myers, Fla., for two weeks when she went looking for her new crush in the boys’ bathroom.
She’d spent the prior two years in and out of treatment facilities, her mother told NBC2, learning to cope with the horrors of the sex slave industry into which she had been trafficked at age 13.
So when she tracked down her crush after school last week and he asked her for sex, her mother said through a victims’ advocate, the young teen agreed.
But then word got out, and someone started filming, and over the next hour as many as 25 male students were shown on school surveillance footage passing through the bathroom, the News-Press reported. Multiple boys had sex with the girl, she later told authorities, during a time period after school when students involved in extracurricular activities participate in a study hall. Sixteen students were disciplined by the Lee County school district, the newspaper reported.

No matter how good a job the parents do, a rapist pimp can undo most of it.
It’s not her, nor her parents’ fault.
I’m aware that the girl is a ‘survivor of sexual assault’.
However, at some point in her life, she needs to learn greater self control. This girl was not ready to be in that school environment, unsupervised, unchaperoned.
The odds are that she will become pregnant at least once before she changes her behavior and starts taking more responsibility. There is a lot of wired in reaction she will need to unlearn first, assuming she ever decides to unlearn it.

I read an account of a porn producer that took a young Christian woman, who was not aware of his occupation, and turned her into one of the bigger porn stars and she couldn’t get out.

No, it’s unlikely the mother sold her own daughter.
What often happens is that these young girls grab the attention of pimps and that pimp showers his target with a lot of attention and gifts over a few weeks. Once he gains her trust, she will go with him somewhere isolated where he then demands that she pay him for all those gifts.
What can also happen is that she could be lured by another young female, who is working for the pimp, to get isolated and, over the course of a few weeks, is repeatedly raped and sold to johns, who also rape her until she just submits to.what sexual demand is given her.
This happens to girls with intact families as well, so there’s not necessarily anything more to the story than what is there.
I understand it happens. But most parents would, or definitely should be concerned with where their 13 year old daughter is and with who.
There is a war on boys and girls, in different ways. It is actually a war on values and the family.

from substitute teaching in an urban school my experience is that all parties know full well what they are getting into. many girls lose virginity at an age far earlier than 15. some of the worst cases are victims of incest from their own families first, at a very young age— amish on amish abuse.
i fault the government and liberals who attempt to provide safety nets. this is what safety nets get you— more abnormal behavior without concern for the consequences, or with an eye towards compensation for being a so-called victim.
imho people including kids have to suck it up. the only excuse is mentally challenged, and there is no indication of that in the article. the guy in the story probably made a split second decision based on being tempted by the girl, and for that, he will be paying for it the rest of his life. did he know what age she was? did he have access to a law library or lawyer, and her ID, before he did anything? the articles do not mention anything about priors.

And the mother probably was, but thousands of young women get lost in the sex trade and disappear every year. It’s an overwhelming situation for the cops. The sex traffickers know how to keep their victims under the radar of the authorities.
It is estimated that there might over a million females being trafficked in the States right now.
The Lord alone can take us out of the pits of sin. Some porno industry workers cannot get out. Some pot smokers cannot quit. Some hoarders cannot clean. Etc. Daily fasting and prayer leads to getting us out of the pits.
And God did deliver her out of her situation, but she was still mentally in it.

I don’t see myself as being heartless. I don’t wish to come off that way. Sometimes, I’m rather blunt and bottom line linear on certain topics, especially when I’m writing vs speaking face to face. My diplomacy remains a work in progress. Or as my Dad once said “Check yourself, before you wreck yourself”
I don’t think he’s being heartless. Often getting pregnant is a step in a positive direction for damaged females.
