Its the employees that get hurt. I dont like that. Should Target be boycotted? I think so. It still sucks the rank and file pay for the top level managements screw-ups.
The good workers can go to work at Walmart.
There are more musicians coming to play in NC than are boycotting. The economic impact BS is a dog and pony show.
One FREEPer suggested going into Target and loading up the shopping cart with a lot of stuff, possibly perishables, and then realizing at check out you don’t agree with the bathroom policy. Or you forgot your wallet in the car and just decide it isn’t worth coming back.

My family of four used to spend roughly $200 a week there. Now, we take our business a block away to Walmart. Anecdotal? Yes. Are there thousands like me? Also, a yes.

Actually on that Thursday (May 19 th) Wal-Mart announced great earnings and the stock price went up about 10% in one day. Now there market cap is much higher than it was last week.

According to Snopes, that’s a re-purposed hoax from 2007 involving another store chain. I haven’t been in a Target in decades, though, so I have no knowledge of the situation.
