As if one silver str and three bronze stars for valor were not enough.
I know my records are not accurate
Bingo.
nobody is low enough to sue a decorated heros widow...Ummmm. I know a guy named BHO who would do it, if given a chance.
I have nothing remotely good to say about that waste of a white skin.
And if you think Service Records are FUBAR
Med Records at the VA are many many times worse. Those records also tie into SSA and Medi-whatever records ...
Basically they hope you die before they have to deal with you or pay.
**** “I have nothing remotely good to say about that waste of” ****
Oxygen or recycled CO2 or Worms yet to be fed
(decisions ... cheap beer and jimmy carter or that pos)
As an active duty sailor who has expended great time and energy trying to clear up multiple discrepancies in the many databases that maintain my records, I would agree with you.
I'm an Ordnanceman and I often joke that if I kept track of munitions the way the Navy has kept track of my records, I'd be in Leavenworth.
I am not going to lose any sleep over whether or not he received 5 or 3 Bronze Stars. Chief Kyle's valor is, to me, without question.
I have had 3 jobs since I got out of the Navy. I never had any of them ask me for my DD-214. Not that I should be concerned if they did.
Wonder if a few are still classified I know some awards can’t be worn till de de classed.
When I retired all my awards and decorations, speciality badges etc left off except for those that earned “points” toward promotion. I never left the CBPO on base till a correction was made and a good DD-214 was in my possession. All the awards and decorations etc were in my files but the admin sorts that prepped my retirement just half assed the process.
As to Kyle .... I believe him versus the presstitutes. Lack of Validity, Trust, Professionalism etc is more of a insult to a true warrior that would never compromise his record of such matters that could have been “discovered” easily and may I suggest long before now by those that will lie and fabricate anything to discredit the man, his way of life and his family , friends and fellow SEAL’s.
my bet is the navy FOIA will reveal a 5/16th star device is on his silver star “ribbon” that works like the USAF / Army oak leaf clusters that indicate 2nd or third or TEN silver stars as Colonel David Hackworth earned in the Korean War....
My opinion.... stay Safe !
I’m with other posters on this thread... It’s a records issue, not an issue with Chris Kyles...
I had the same problem when I was separating from the USAF.
I had been awarded a US Army Achievement medal for work I did at Tobyhanna Army Depot certifying and helping to write the TM’s/TO’s for the Tri-Tac Anti-Jam modem used in Satellite Communications Systems. It was not listed on my DD-214. I had to bring my Citation to CBPO before they would amend my records.
I know it’s no Purple Heart or Bronze Star but I was proud of the fact that I was awarded an ARMY medal while in the AF. When my CO pinned it on me he said it was the first time he had seen that.
. . . Some of the time. By the mid-1960s, he had "outed" himself as a color-obsessed socialist who thought black folks should get preferences over whites in hiring.
He also started giving speeches that were openly anti-American and pro-Soviet. In his "My country is the foremost purveyor of violence in the world today" speech in 1967, where he came out against the Vietnam War, he at the same time praised all the "revolutionary" wars in South America, Africa, and Southeast Asia that were openly organized and supported by the Soviet Union.
By the end--and possibly from the beginning--he was just another America-hating hack, following orders from his white Lefty financiers. (What should we expect from a plagiarist?)
If only the media went after the avalanche of Obama discrepancies, lies, falsehoods, connections, coverups, gaps, etc.
There would be at least a two-hour show every week.
And, btw, it would garner the highest ratings.

Gee, that reminds me of someone. Now who could that be? Hmmm....puzzling.
While I never questioned his in service record, it was his post service claims that were never substantiated that turned me off on this guy............He should have just kept his mouth shut.
A bogus claim by Kyle and verified in a court of law...............Just sayin'
he was TOO BUSY KILLING ISLAMIC TERRORISTS to keep track
and he probably earned more than that...
in nam seals 90% of the deserving cases didnt get the medals because no one took the time to submit the paperwork
UNLIKE KERRY AND OTHER LIBTARD PHOINY “heroes”....
he did an OUTSTANDING JOB and saved hundreds of lives plus killed plenty of jihadis...
we need more like him and less like ventura
