A Dallas-based LGBT resource center is calling on Dallas leaders to cut ties with a controversial North Texas pastor who compared gay-friendly business advocates to ISIS.
First Baptist Church of Dallas' Senior Pastor Robert Jeffress made the remarks on a radio program last week when he was discussing president Obama's transgender directive to public schools.
"I've said often the greatest thread to freedom of religion in America is not ISIS, it's the chamber of commerce," the pastor said on the radio. "I mean, it's the businesses that say to our representatives, 'Oh, don't pass laws like that. Don't pass these religious freedom laws because people will interpret that as anti-gay and we'll lose business."

just like the nazis.
It’s like all the “far right” candidates in Europe that would be squish liberals here.
UPDATE!
I just talked to the ‘corporate buyer’ at this grocery store
Bottom line......he has no intention of removing the LGBT cards from the greeting cards section.......even though I am a longtime customer.
Also, I a not the complaining type
His reasons were ridiculous and insulting.
Finally heard from the ‘category manager’......he is NOT pulling the cards even though it is definitely promoting the LGBT agenda.
Actually this store chain does determine which cards......including these LGBT cards......go into their store.
I just finished talking to two corporate managers who told me exactly that!
That store would be off my list. I’ve been doing lots of online shopping lately.
In their perverted eyes, anyone who is pro-family is any them.
Huh..?
This is what they did the chick-fil-A guy.
what...?
It’s off my list now, too!
Appreciate all your efforts. Does get depressing trying to find places to stop that don’t throw the LGTB in your face.
Bought some graduation cards today from Dollar Tree - two for one dollar - I did look and they had no LGTB ones, even for “two fathers”.
Beyond writing a letter to the corporate office and not shopping there any longer not sure what you can do.
We used to do business with Pitney Bowes but quit because of poor customer service. I also went on-line and found a complaint website and added mine to others railing against them. Don’t know if your store has a website where you can post comments or not, but you might want to check it out.
Great idea!
Thank-you so much for your kind post!....Bless you!
The manager specifically said the chain test-marketed these cards in some of their stores before they put them in most of their stores.
