Former Vice President Al Gore told The Hollywood Reporter his 2006 film “An Inconvenient Truth” actually underestimated how serious global warming would be — despite all the patently false predictions he made in the film.
“I wish the film had over-estimated the seriousness of the crisis, but unfortunately it actually underestimated how serious it is,” Gore told THR in an interview Thursday, just days before the 10th anniversary of his film.
[dcquiz] “But on the positive side, solutions are now being developed so quickly that there is real cause for hope and optimism,” Gore said.
Gore’s 2006 film claimed global warming was the greatest challenge facing mankind, and that human-produced carbon dioxide emissions were pushing the Earth towards an ecological disaster. The film even won Gore and his crew two Oscars in 2007, and the movie revitalized Gore’s political relevance

I have Futurama on DVD and in some of the episodes he’s in, they’re not really kind talking about him on the commentary.
The writers/producers are big libs too. I don’t know why anyone pays any attention to what he has to say.
That’s pretty good. First he comes up with something completely untrue & absurd & then when it looks like the truth is coming out.....he doubles down on his phony theory.

This decade is no exception. Gore actually overestimated rather than underestimated, as he claims, the effects of global warming. Virtually nothing he predicted came true, which reflects his overestimation of the phenomena. Sheesh.
Over 100 million citizens were killed last century because of excessively powerful government structures.
Where 4 Government sponsored and constructed nuclear reactors have completly melted down and continue to emit highly dangerous radioactive elements. And will continue to emit them for over a hundred years.
And yet, he thinks an unprovable hypothesis that a planet due to reenter an Ice Age, might be over heating from a naturally occurring trace gas, demands even more government control.
If anything was under estimated it was the corrupt and idiotic nature of All Hore.
Thanks for the P&B, it was a great cartoon and that was definitely one of their funnier parts.
He didn’t write it. He didn’t direct it. He didn’t edit it. But, he got all the “credit” since the left figured he was in the best position to advance the agenda with it.
All of the voice actors deserved hefty bonuses in their checks for all that dialog.
