The two vast 67,000 tonne vessels are the largest warships ever built in Britain
Interesting. Seems that a few years ago, they were mothballing equipment due to money shortages.
Yes, I’m sure everyone is scared to death.
Great.
Another weapon soon to be in the hands of the future Emir of Britianstan.
Perhaps the headline is correct. The PROBLEM will be this: Britain is rapidly surrendering to Islam, which means MULLAHS will be in charge of these warships.
Which means Britain’s military is one missile-strike away from being crippled.
Save some money; make them half-vast.
Should be renamed HMS Jihad!
Well, at least they LOOK like a warship. They’re not using that hideous back-sloped bow like some of the new American boats.
Seems like I heard the F-35 was their choice but wasn't available yet.
I hope the Dual Tower Design Works out well.
They won’t stop the muslims from taking over Britain from within.
But isn’t the age of the aircraft carrier coming to an end?
These are about 2/3 size of our Nimitz Class Carriers.
The article shows F-35s. Looks like they will still have the skateboard ramp at the end of the launch ramp.
How sad this is! This is EXACTLY the attitude the English had about their ships before World War I - and they got their butts kicked not on sea, but on land.
Meanwhile, they are turning their country into Britanistan.
I think these things are sitting ducks for the newer (and even the last) generation of anti-ship missiles. You read about some of the ones the Chinese claim to have (Mach 10) and it’s rather sobering. And they are massively expensive to build & operate.
Of course, Britain has no known history of overbelieving in its ships.
If Britain does not have the will to fight internal enemies, all the fire power in the world will not help it.
Too late. The invasion has already taken place.
