If you ever hear a Southerner say “bless your heart” it also means the same thing.
Working in any customer service position requires a really, really, really thick skin. People are going to be rude and some will be downright obnoxious. If you are the type of person who takes it personally, you should not work customer service. As long as these Disney characters aren’t being obnoxious to the customers, then they can vent all they want.
Which is why you tell them, “Oh no...bless YOUR heart.”

“There are also the perks of having an enormous costume wardrobe to hand, which came in handy when one employee wanted to propose.
They revealed: ‘I work at Disney World and I got the park manager to let me use the Mickey costume in a show to ask my boyfriend to marry me. I’m a guy.’ “
*gag*
So they are complaining because they have to be professional at work.
Paying $400/day for a family to stand in line for 45 minutes to go on a ride??
My reply to Disney - have a magical day!!
Never took my kids there, and they didn’t have much interest to go either given the choice of many other interesting things to do.
I think I’m gonna switch.
:D
Its a J-O-B! Do your work as instructed or you are not needed. I am absolutely more interested in what Disney has expressed and created than what some tattooed individual has to do or say. That’s why millions go to Disney and no one goes to look at tattoo man.
[Not to say Disney is perfect at all, but in the context of employer vs employee the employer ought to have the final say when acting within the law.]
Disney company , I hope you have a magical day !
I once knew a guy who was VP in charge of customer service for a large retail chain.
Whenever you spoke with him he sounded as if he had been getting beaten over the head for 48 continuous hours.
not only that- there are actually rules they must abide by!!! oh the humanity!!
maybe they should work in an effing coal mine instead.. oh my I just can’t cope with working at Disney,, oh no

One that I like is “See you Next Time.”
So what’s the deal here? Dressing up like Mickey Mouse and being a Disney character is work; its not all fun and games. Not surprising is it? Its a job and not everybody is cut out for it.
My wife and I hate all things Disney. It comes as no surprise that our son never wanted to go to Disney and hates them as well. We did something right.
