After seven Republicans switched their votes from "yes" to "no" Thursday on a measure that have would have protected LGBT workers from discrimination from federal contractors, Democrats quickly turned the votes into an election issue.
House Republicans are so committed to discriminating against LGBT Americans, that they broke regular order to force their members to reverse their votes and support Republicans bigotry," Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said in a statement.

Republicans start to grow a spine? Or, just a fluke?
“Sodomites Unite !”
support Republicans bigotry,” Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said in a statement.

Only a democrat/pervert thinks that way.
Wear Nanzi’s disapproval like a badge of honor.
I don’t want my tax dollars used to support perverts.
As if liberals were going to vote republican but this vote caused them to change their minds.
Hmmm, might they have finally figured out that answering to the base (US) might be of much higher political consequence?
Oh, and why did any of them vote for this in the first place? The amendment appears to be hugely divisive, and is a major gift to the tort bar, one highly suspects.
I am really TIRED of hearing the word, “bigotry”, screeched by the real bigots
Why is it that perverts have a legal right to bring their sexuality to work, but if heterosexual do, it’s sexual harassment?
Hopefully they are getting a spine!
This is a good election issue for the republicans. Most normal people are repulsed by the the gay lifestyle.
Pelosi and other mentally ill democrats are bigots who discriminate against normal people.
only LGBT? Huh? No Q? If they’d have just added the Q, it would’ve passed for sure.
Well, not really. They certainly went to a lot of trouble to find yet another way to call their opponents bigots, but that's business as usual in DC and frankly I doubt if anyone out here in flyover country gives a rat's buttock.
Hillary is going to need a lot more than this. She’s already got the gay vote.
So am I.
Noting that House RINOs have read the Constitution out loud at the beginnings of the last three legislative sessions, the key question concerning bills which establish politically correct LGBT rights is this. How many RINOs were sleeping when the constitutional provision that prohibits the feds from establishing vote-winning, protected / privileged classes, which low-information lawmakers are effectively doing with such legislation imo, was read?
Article I, Section 9, Clause 8: No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States [emphasis added]: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.
Could it be that the seven RINOs who flipped their vote on the LGBT amendment have started reading Free Republic?
Nah
Apparently, by some freak act of nature I came into this world normal and I somehow grew into an adult, and surprise - I am still normal.
I guess I was lucky because I never had to sit around and wonder what sex I wanted to be. I was always a boy and I always knew I was a boy, my sisters were girls, mom was a woman and dad was a man.
Maybe being normal came with my white privilege, but I know other people with darker skin also seemed normal.
Now that I have made it to 67 and I remain normal, it seems I am a bigot — just because I am normal.
Oh well. I have never been a racist, but now I am called a racist, so I guess I can get used to being called a bigot, especially by my own government. Sorry, I can’t help what I am — I like viginas, always have and I think I always will. I like being a real man and I would never dream of having my junk cut off. I’ll keep using the mens-room and unless I hear my wife of 44 years screaming for help, I won’t be going into a lady’s-room.
There have always been perverts around, but at one time, America was actually considered normal. I miss those days of normalcy.
