A shocking editorial in the Charlotte Observer counseled young girls to get over the "discomfort" they feel at the sight of male genitalia when transgender facilities are allowed in North Carolina. The newspaper assumes the law will eventually be repealed or declared illegal. While that may or may not happen any time soon, it is the justification for this position used by the Observer that reveals the true nature of this battle of the bathroom. The agitators and perverts don’t want to go into a Unisex restroom or change room - they want to go into the WOMEN’S restroom and change room and they will accept nothing less!
Exactly. This is not about accommodating sensitivity to a so-called transgender's feelings of acceptance or belonging. It's about power and control, rooted in contempt for anything "normal," including the concepts of decency and morality. This is about a tiny fraction of the population discovering their power to humiliate and dominate. And that's what the left has seized on.
Despite what we hear ad nauseum, the left doesn't want transgenders to fit in. The minute they do, there goes their reason d'etre. Peace and harmony is antithetical to what revs their engines. They're fueled by attention and the power it gives them--the power to shock, the power to control, the power to impose whatever whim suits them.

Couldn't agree with you more. Because this isn't about transgenders and what they want. The left has appropriated the "cause" of this miniscule population for their own agenda. If every transgender demand were to be magically met next week, the bar would be raised; the game changed.
My first thought?
There are lots of ‘males’ who would be very uncomfortable showing off ‘their wares’ in the girls locker room.

What is happening is that MEN are telling women that they can go into their bathrooms. No one took a poll about how women felt about this. The CEO of Target and Obama are men, yet are telling women to shut up and accept it.
We have one candidate who chooses to let a man use the women’s bathroom in his buildings, and another who wants to force everyone to do so. That we are even talking about this is a terrible indicator, this looks a lot like the ‘gay marriage’ garbage looked 15-20 years before it was just imposed like it was really no big deal after all.
