Modern feminism is leveraged: “you cannot criticize me, because I’m a woman“.

Ultimately, this is the modern version of feminism, and one currently being advanced by personalities like Fox News host Megyn Kelly. Social justice memes demanding a higher position of consideration based on (fill_in_the_blank), where this specific blank is filled with gender.
The objective determinations of skill and competency are now being clouded by lowered expectations forced by the benefactors who gain by lowering the expectation. It is a dangerous and slippery slope to bar critical evaluation based on lowered expectations due to gender. Such well-intentioned pathways historically lead to soft-bigotry caused by lessened expectations.

Its even simpler than that... the gender card is the only card Hillary has to play in this election. Just like the race card was pretty much all Obama had.

Point is, Megyn Kelly is part of Fox News at this point at least, and as Cruz likes to say “there could be reprecussions”...
I’ve thought for some time she is looking to bolt, go indie and become the next Baba Wawa, using her “star power” to make millions doing whatever she wants to rather than having to show up every day for an actual job. Trump is her meal ticket, but we’ll see if it gets punched.
So did Megyn actually say this quoted title or is it another attempt by the sensationalized media to impress upon her what they think she is truly saying.

I’ve seen her. I’ve seen her Trump performance at the debate. I’ve seen the flak she caught and I’ve seen the change in her look and persona since then.
Frankly, I don’t care what she says now or what she thinks as long as it isn’t taken as something from a responsible ‘journalist’.
I’ve seen what she’d do to rise above the fray showing her ass and listening to her on Howard Stern, and I’ve been exposed enough in the aftermath of her failed attempt to take down Trump at the debate, and I don’t care if you think it is emotional ‘drivel’ or not.
I wish Mr. Trump wasn’t such a nice man sometimes and hadn’t agreed to grant her this interview. She only went to Trump Tower to finagle him for one reason: RATINGS!!! Without him, her new show would suck and nobody (including me) would bother watching. Tonight, I will tune in, hoping he is the first of the four interviewees and then change the channel. I dread having to suffer through a tantalizing wait to see Trump and tolerate her.
He should not have given her the satisfaction. She was not sincere and has perpetrated herself as a victim, whom we should feel pity.
Last night, her regular show was pretty much another anti-Trump his job—and she even had the gall to invite Donald Trump, Jr. on, who, like his father, is too much of a good sport. Once his interview ended, I left until Hannity came on.
They have made peace in his latest interview with her. Not saying I’m a fan however the media has a way of keeping a non-story a story and common people emotionally tied to a theme.
If they’ve made peace let bygones be bygones and move on

I don’t mind making peace. But to pretend this person has anything substantive or legitimately contributory to the political scene from an unbiased perspective is patently foolish.
