A teary-eyed Ted Cruz is hinting that hes leaving the door open for another White House bid in a newly released video titled "No regrets."
The 5-minute video opens with a campaign staffer asking if the Cruz camp made it through this without regrets. This is nearly a regret-free campaign, he says. Ted Cruz didnt lose. Our campaign for president lost.

That was the state convention. He got just 43% of the vote in the Texas primary and that was early in the process...a strong opponent will win handily over him in the senate campaign. And he knows it which is why he’s starting his no apologies tour now.
Agreed! No class!
You and I have crossed swords before and I know all I need to know about you, through reading your posts.
Your abject lack of reading comprehension skills is appalling and no doubt partly responsible for your inane replies to me. And for all of your supposed high dudgeon, re patriotism, you somehow managed to NOT reply in such a manner as to dissuade me from my opinion of you.
Out of morbid curiosity....why did you vote for Cruz if it wasn't with and shred of enthusiasm ? If you couldn't stand any of the others, why vote at all ?
He finishes the video with ‘to be continued’, so he thinks he is going somewhere with this ‘movement’!
Funny, we were all for this guy until Trump showed up and then all of a sudden he became a pariah.
There were a number of us “we” on the H-1B Visa Ping who were not happy campers in Cruz Country!
Oh and there were those of us “we” wondering how a Canadian citizen born of a Cuban father can be eligible?!
Remember when Trump waited with a confused Ben Carson at one of the debates while the rest of the candidates blew by?
The others? NOT SO MUCH.
I believe that is why Carson has been so loyal to Trump over these months...because Trump stood by him in his time of need.
It further confirmed my decision to support Trump when I saw this play out on national TV.
Do you believe he should get behind Trump to unite the party?
. That’s why Cruz’s team, according to news reports, wants to change the rules for 2020 to allow delegates to “vote their conscience” on a first ballot.

Do crying men go over well in Texas now-a-days?
My this country has changed...
yeppers
i want a Rooster Coburn in the Whitehouse - or as close as we can...
I wasn’t sure of Trump before that point and I had to endure Cruz supporters talking about how a real leader charges ahead instead of waiting with Carson, but after watching that I understood that Trump loves America and all its peoples.
I haven’t seen that since Reagan and it gives me hope.
I don’t understand all the hateful attitudes toward Cruz either since the primary is effectively over.
He has one of the most conservative voting records in the senate.
I know some would say he was being opportunistic, but he stood up to oppose Obamacare when almost no one else did.
The GOPe criticized Cruz during the government shutdown...but afterwards the republicans gained seats.
If you believe behind the scenes stories, Cruz helped get Boehner out as speaker...I tend to believe it considering Boehner called Cruz “lucifer in the flesh”.
He helped defend the 2nd Ammendment in a Supreme Court case.
I don’t care if he is opportunistic as long as he defends conservative values.
I know people point out 2-3 votes...but overall he is one of the top 2-3 senators currently serving.
My guess is Cruz will at some point come out publicly and support Trump.
We can’t have Hillary and Cruz knows that.
Trump in his own way complimented Cruz when he called him “one helluva competitor”.
I would hope that the disparaging of Cruz here would cease soon.
We’ve crossed swords before? I don’t recall that. Doesn’t matter, I don’t keep tallies.
Yes, the unhinged was an insult about some totally random Sousa/patriotism/love of country weirdness that entered the conversation from left field that was your attempt (and clearly struck a chord) at insulting me for not making an emotional decision on who to vote for. It had nothing to do with your candidate choice. I apologize, it was petty of me. It is not my personality to share my emotions with strangers; I will say I do not believe this earth has seen a finer country than the US and I hope that we will start moving back in a direction that is deserving of the sacrifices that so many made to form us.
I have no interest in some absurd flame war. I understand the appeal of Trump, it just isn’t what appeals to me. The history of mankind is not highlighted by examples of how great things turned out when people react with anger. Here’s one thing I really like about Trump, he appears to be really good at actually listening to what people say.
The handwringing over what Ted is or isn’t doing is just really weird to me. He lost, who cares if he puts out a video like this one every day.
I vote in every election. It is my duty. For me Cruz was the most pro-COTUS guy. There isn’t always an exciting pick for me in every election. Is there one for you? Bush 2000 was exciting pick for me. There have been some locals that I really liked. But, in general, I just don’t get excited over people I don’t personally know.
He’s been around Beck too much!
I don’t know. Why would I try to guess what his intention is. Since I can’t do anything about it right now, how about if I sit back and patiently wait to see what is actually going to happen and react accordingly instead of making some really wild guess about what might, what could, what if.
No, we were all for this guy and then he steadily became a horrible Presidential candidate, and it accelerated when he jumped in bed with the GOPe...
Ted Cruz is the one prolonging it. His behavior is just totally narcissistic at this point. And he did lie blatantly about Trump's positions. IMHO, Ted Cruz truly ran an unprincipled campaign, joined with the GOPe, and was Machiavellian in the extreme.
And Cruz says he has no regrets? He's delusional.
Ted Cruz is in a really weird place right now, and most Americans can see that. He's damaging his brand.
No congratulations for Trump for winning Indiana, not to mention the nomination?
Just no grace at all from Ted Cruz towards Donald Trump. It's shameful.
He should have reached out to Trump already, not be making videos on his great 'movement' which was nonexistent.
He isn't Reagan!
Every Trump rally is on YouTube. Go to YouTube and search for Cruz rally—NOTHING.
Maybe Cruz has never heard of YouTube. Maybe Cruz didn’t know that people were able to see exactly what Trump was saying.
