Even supporters agree: Clinton has weaknesses as a candidate. (People hate her) What can she do?

Hillary Clinton's declining personal image, ongoing battle to break free of the challenge from Sen. Bernie Sanders and struggle to adapt to an anti-establishment mood among voters this year have become caution signs for her campaign and the focus of new efforts to fortify her position as she prepares for a bruising general election.

More than a dozen Clinton allies identified weaknesses in her candidacy that may erode her prospects of defeating Donald Trump, including poor showings with young women, untrustworthiness, unlikability and a lackluster style on the stump. Supporters also worry that she is a conventional candidate in an unconventional election in which voters clearly favor renegades.

"I bring it down to one thing and one thing only, and that is likability," said Peter Hart, a Democratic pollster who has conducted a series of focus groups for the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania.

She’s so hated that even dogs piddle on her lawn signs, but there are more discriminating canines that won’t even dignify her visage with their pee.

The line of those who want to “off” the bitch would be too long.

I don’t hate her.

“Hate” is not strong enough to describe my feelings.

Media, Dems and GOPestablishment have been trying for months to paint Trump:

‘Yeah, but He’s more unlikable.’

The problem with that is that Trump is more unlikable to the Media, Dems and GOPestablish.

Trump gets 10s of thousands at his rallies. Hillary get 10s in a private venue room.

Trump talks TO his audiences. Hillary screeches at hers.

These articles from the MSM that undermine the Witch are really starting to worry me. It looks like Obola is moving to undermine the Witch, possibly because he has really damaging polling data about her and wants to replace her. He can only do that if she’s severely damaged. Then he can threaten her with indictment and force her out of the race in return for full pardons for her, Slick, and their accomplices. That would be bad for us because it would enable Obola to replace her with a more viable potential candidate without her multiple vulnerabilities.

She’s been planning on running her whole life. The FBI investigation just ups the stakes. It the White House or the big house for her now. That’s why she will never drop out. The only chance the Democrats have to get rid of her would be if the super delegates defect at the convention. Even then they’ll have to drag her away in a straight jacket.

I think Widow Clinton would have a much better chance.

Bill better sleep with one eye open.

You don’t think she would trade dropping out for a pardon?

Rather telling on how Honest the Politicians,Loud Mouths, and the Media is so dishonest. Everyone behind Hillary has been trying for Months to sway the Republican Primaries because TRUMP LOSES TO HILLARY BIG TIME, Not even a contest according to everyone. Now Trump is the Nominee and they Know they have NO CHANCE and are admitting it.

This is the sort of article one reads from policy and party wonks whose sole source of information is other policy and party wonks. You will notice that the opinions of "her supporters" are quoted at length, but in fact if you want to find out why people don't like a candidate, does it not make a little more sense to ask the people who don't like her?

What one gets when one asks only sympathizers about why there aren't more of them is this sort of mishmash of projection and opinion about opinion. They don't like her because there's something wrong with them, not her. What could it be? Quite a number of polling consultants pull six figures for indulging in the mystery. Nice living.

For the most part, it is her qualities as a candidate that keep her allies up at night, not her fitness to be president, which they categorically do not question.

Perhaps they ought to. You can't separate the two categories: those qualities that make her unfit for office also serve to make her broadly despicable, and vice versa. And it isn't as if her allies don't know at least some of what these are:

Among other potential problems identified by supporters: Clinton’s unpopularity with white men, questions about whether her family philanthropic foundation helped donors and friends, and lingering clouds from her tenure at the State Department, including her private email system, the Benghazi attacks in which four Americans were killed and her support for military intervention in Libya.

Note once again "identified by supporters". They know. They just don't care. It turns out to be far more than a marketing issue - you can sell a box of dog poo as detergent by changing the appearance of the box only insofar as the marks don't know it's the same old dog poo inside. Quite a few politicians have made careers out of that, the sitting President being a notable example. But it's far too late for that with Hillary. That quarter-century of "service" her supporters are so fond of citing has created an unmistakable stench. She has one chance, and precisely one: go negative enough to make her opponent smell worse. And lo and behold:

Attacking Trump will be a big part of Clinton’s fall strategy.

No fooling? Only for the first time in her entire disreputable career, two things: first, that she is no longer invulnerable by playing the sexism card, which hasn't prevented her supporters from trying it anyway; and second, that her opponent isn't going to play by gentlemanly rules and is going to punch back, hard. "Crooked Hillary" - yes, and amoral, vicious, power-mad, ignorant, arrogant, and with a sense of personal entitlement the size of the Hindenburg. And far too stupid and unskilled politically to mask all these, at which both her husband and 0bama have proven adept. One might call for a charm offensive from a rattlesnake but one isn't going to get it.

Yet these same folks forget that the Bernie folks can fight back too, to the point of either seeing Bernie go indy or staying home on Election and thus helping Trump to get in the White House.

I hope she is too selfish to allow Biden to take her place. Maybe if she was indicted... Michelle O wants Biden in.

Hillary has always been a weak candidate. It wasn’t so obvious when she lost to Obama because he was built up so much in the media , and the sordid truth about his background was hidden. Now she’s losing to this old beatnik socialist, and the Dems are mystified that the wild enthusiasm for the First Female President is gone. It never existed. Trump 2016!
