Huh. I’m surprised at all these conservatives who reject Dr Carson with a one-word post.
I’ve liked Ben Carson for a long time, and hoped he would do better in the primaries. Ran out of money/support I guess.
I certainly hope he’s Trump’s Surgeon General at least. I would vote for a Trump/Carson ticket.

Carson, not so much. Too meek, not sufficiently verbally precise. He might be good in a different position, though.

Newt’s constituency overlaps too much with Trump’s, limiting the number of new votes he could pull in. Also, Newt is kryptonite to social conservatives, resulting in a drag on the ticket.
Newt’s place is chief of staff. His congressional experience would be invaluable there.
