Ted Cruz said Thursday that those who contributed to the rise of presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will have to "bear that responsibility going forward."
Cruz appeared Thursday evening on the Houston-based "Michael Berry Show" and was asked whether he thought he was treated fairly in the GOP primary, with the host mentioning Fox News.
"Well listen, there's time for recriminations and you know, everyone who was responsible for the rise of Donald Trump, they will bear that responsibility going forward," Cruz responded.
"But there were more than a few players that played a disproportionate role in that rise," he added. "I'm going to focus, instead of looking backwards, I'm going to focus on looking forwards."
Cruz returned to Capitol Hill on Tuesday for the first time since dropping out of the GOP race but declined to endorse Trump, who is working to shore up support from establishment Republicans.
"I think we left it all on the field," Cruz said Thursday. "My one regret is that we came up short."
Cruz said he'll address the Texas GOP convention Saturday afternoon.
"The biggest message I'm going to say is simply 'thank you,'" Cruz said.
He'll rally Republicans with a message that "although the results may not have been as we wanted, that together we started a movement and this movement will continue."
Cruz said he wasn't sure if he'd address the national GOP convention in Cleveland in July, but he indicated he planned to attend out of an obligation to the some 600 delegates he won during the primary.
"I don't know if I'll have a role at the convention or not, but I'll certainly be there cheering on the delegates," he said.
DT’s campaign has certainly shown us who the mental defectives in the GOP are....
The Ted is pointing at himself. Because in the early days of the primary, Ted was almost alone in staying quiet about Trump.
Or, if he did speak, talk about how Trump was putting focus on an important issue.

Very strange. A lot of folks are scared of the changes where Trump tries to put some normalcy back from the ripoff crowd and the parasites feeding off the dying carcass of this nation.
Frankly, I am not surprised. If people can make a fast buck off something, with no regard to their neighbor, etc. All the values once held in the 50’s or so are being eradicated.
Of course, that is Obama’s mission and the idiots of this nation gave him 4 years and the 4 years more to wreak evil and perversion and destruction.

I hope I’m wrong, but I have a feeling that Lyin’ Ted will sue the media over the disproportionate coverage that Trump got. I’m guessing that’s what he means when he said Fox and others “will bear that responsibility going forward.” He lives in an alternate universe.

Cruz cannot sue FOX because he turned down literally hundreds of invitations to appear. Greta alone says her staff contacted Cruz’ staff every single day to invite him on her show. Hannity demonstrated that he had given Cruz more time *despite* all the invitations Cruz rejected. Cruz does some irrational things, but not even he would sue with so many hosts on the record re the outsized number of invitations Cruz turned down.

That is what is bizarre; Trump is the nominee. He might just as well as to hold out for Jeb!.
The other daughter can’t even stand to look at what he”s doing. Total repulsion. David Koresh was investigated for less.
In a country ruled by corrupt politicians and environmental regulators he built buildings and then sold condo's at a profit and leases commercial space at rates that return a profit, and operates hotels with enough quality that customers are willing to pay to stay in them. In other words, the guy provides to a free market, on a daily basis, services that people are willing to pay for.
That says a lot.
