if we must suffer a euphemism why not detritual manors or maybe criminal abodes
There are “challenged neighborhoods” where a lot of decent people are trapped. Their houses have no value, and they don’t have the resources to make a move. Some of those neighborhoods, in the Cleveland area anyway, do a real good job policing themselves. But for medical appointments, shopping, entertainment? A lot of the people who live in those neighborhoods depend on the busses. Necessary services have mostly left their communities.
