Trump has a pow-wow with unsupportive GOPe House leader Paul Ryan today. Anticipate Ryan, after following crucifiers of our conservative frontrunner and all of his early supporters, to now position himself as the leader of those politico wussies to the cool kids' table.
Typical politics. Makes me ill. DJT can't capitulate.
The holier-than-thou GOPe that sees elections as merely a money-making business has stomped all over We the People for the last time. They got us into the mess we're in with their failed, capitulating agenda that's gone along with Obama's fundamental transformation of America that includes devastating debt increase, deadly open borders, failed foreign nation building, exporting jobs, dividing the country, and quashing American exceptionalism... while laughing all the way to their personal bank accounts.
Today, Trump can not cede any victorious ground to the losers who got us into the mess we're in. And he won't. He'll own the meeting like a boss. Can't wait to hear Ryan's take on it afterwards; anticipate it'll be as accurate as his infamous claims of balancing a budget... or running his Olympic-qualifying marathon.
Ryan’s post-meeting presser was the typical smokescreen of meaningless rhetoric and obfuscation. Trump simply must replace Lyin’ Paul with someone of substance and credibility.
You are certainly correct. At the same time, several prominent R's. and those they control or influence are on the verge of betraying the candidate's oath to support the nominee.
My money says Trump is not arriving at this potentially hostile conference with the weaker of two hands (or he would not be walking in).

Unfortunately, the media were successful in their attacks. Her public image is unrelated to the reality.
Personally, I expect to see her in Trump's cabinet. Perhaps that will also rehabilitate her public image.
She would also be a great VP, although her current public image is so damaged that it might hurt the ticket instead of help. But if he picks her I'd be a supporter. It would certainly be consistent with Trump's outsider campaign!
My vote doesn’t matter. I live in New York State, so I will again do the write in vote for Mrs. Palin.
I consider this convention prep. Trump is laying down the ground rules and it is all being done under the guise of unity.
They are fighting. This is the first time the party has been threatened, and there is no way to prevent it, or prepare for it, because it is a political movement. I don't blame the party players for claiming "all is well" as their ship sinks. They are likely happy that the press is as inept as they are, and is accepting the line that unification is proceeding.
Wait for Trump to bring into view that "unification" in an election contest is unification behind a candidate, not unification behind some principles. So, how is unification behind the candidate going?
Is Ryan just a white skinned Obama - arrogant, insufferable, full of crap, and afflicted with delusions of grandeur?
Listen closely to his speeches sometime.
He sounds like a stuttering kid making up excuses on the spot for not doing his homework.
Ryan has an inflated view of his own importance if he thinks it is his job to make the party presidential nominee toe the line and bow to his wishes.

If Trump capitulates with RyanO and the GOPe, it will hurt him substantially.
It is certainly going to be a boost to his opponent’s popularity. Time for the traitors to wake up and smell the coffee.
Boehner handpicked Ryan as his successor to make sure nothing is ever done that would benefit the American citizens and save our country as a sovereign free nation.
This isn’t about politics any more - this is overt war against We the People by our own government traitors - the same thing is going on in Canada and Europe with their leaders selling them out to the very face of Evil with the goal of a ‘borderless [chaotic] world.’
Wake up, Folks - Nothing changes when the Repubs are in power. They are willing collaborators with Obama et.al. The most I hope from Trump is to throw a huge Monkey Wrench into it all. If he doesn’t do that quickly after he is elected...
And why would he?
I think most Freepers are interested in whatever Palin has to say.
Most Sarah hatred seemed to come from the Cruz crew for the sin of endorsing Trump.
