Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump appears to have softened his stance on temporarily barring Muslims from travelling to the US.
Responding to remarks by London Mayor Sadiq Khan, Mr Trump told Fox News Radio the ban was "just a suggestion".

We’ll take what we can get at the moment.
It’s not time to moderate, it’s not time to listen to the GOPe that he ran against.
The only thing that could really hurt Trump now would be to get squishy on the stuff that got him where he is.
In addition, it is time to revive the exclusionary laws of this country and deport those who would overthrow this government in favor of Sharia Law.
What I said was Trump has said in the past that running for president is not something he wanted to do. In this case he is running because he feels he has to run. He feels his country is under threat. That is very different from actually running for the power of the position.
People often do things they do not want to do because they believe it is the right thing to do.
He stills says we need to prevent anyone from coming here until we can vet them properly....
Didn’t say he didn’t mean it. And I’m sure he’d still press for it if he thought it necessary.
But it sounds like you’re playing dumb and getting hung up policy means rather than end goals.
The -goal- ALL ALONG has been this, and it has never changed: Keep Americans safe from the risk of jihadists who might infiltrate the US posing as mere Muslim migrants.
what a great cartoon! LOL
I can’t argue that point and I’ll believe that’s the case until I see otherwise; no one gets a free pass anymore.
For starters, reject any applicant who will not swear allegiance to the United States and the Constitution and disavow allegiance to Sharia.
‘..but muzzies who are here also have to play Armed Infidel Roulette.’

Every moderate Muslim is a potential terrorist. The belief in Islam is like a tank of gasoline. It looks innocuous, until it meets the fire. For a moderate Muslim to become a murderous jihadist, all it takes is a spark of faith.
It is time to put an end to the charade of moderate Islam. There is no such thing as moderate Muslim. Muslims are either jihadists or dormant jihadists moderate, they are not.

Big reason why we must elect Donald.
No I am not being coy about this at all.
We the people are supposed to be the boss, and any goals to be achieved should be plainly obvious from the policies used to attain them, such as the case with Trump's proposed temporary ban of Muslim migrants.
Trump has won the nomination precisely because of simple and concise policy statments like this, and any retreat from this style jepordizes a victory in the general election.
Very true - Muslims can go Jekyll/Hyde in an instant. Sudden Jihad Syndrome. Like having a hand grenade on your dining room table, harmless only if watched carefully.
Look at the jihadi knife attacks in Israel. Videos show Muslim suddenly erupting with “ALLAHU AKBAR!!!” and slashing.
IMO only the most determined “shahid” will strike here, because he has to be thinking, “How many infidels can I kill before I am gunned down?”
But the MSM told us that Trump wants to ban all Muslims forever!!!! Now the always so honest media is trying to tell us he's changing his position... I wonder why they would want to mislead the sheeple?
“What I said was Trump has said in the past that running for president is not something he wanted to do.”
I know what you said. And I told you that Trump - according to people who know him - has been talking about running for president for years already. If true, that doesn’t sound like a man who doesn’t want to run for president.
“In this case he is running because he feels he has to run.”
Again, his actions make it look like he has been planning to run for years and he has talked about running before this election cycle.
“He feels his country is under threat. That is very different from actually running for the power of the position.”
Yet he is running and he has been talking about running for years.
“People often do things they do not want to do because they believe it is the right thing to do.”
True, but I cannot assume Trump is one of those people based upon his past choices. I’m not saying he’s a horrible human being. Hillary Clinton is much, much worse. Trump, however, has some serious flaws and I don’t see much of a history of him choosing against his own desires because it is the right thing to do for someone else. Was choosing to cheat on his first wife an example of his doing something he did not want to do because it is the right thing to do?
They have lied about “temporary” and about “until we figure it out” for months now. Cruz and the other republicans joined in with that misdirection.
Now, they want to report the truth as breaking news about a change in what Trump proposed.
They are evil, these people.
Policy shifts won’t jeopardize a candidate, so long as the end goal remains the same.
It’ll be another 8 months before he gets into the WH. And he’ll have access to much more diverse information once there.
Expecting a candidate to know exactly what their policies will definitely be this far out would be silly.
We disagree.
Thanks for your attention
Trumpsters will find out that much of what he says will change. Court orders, other pols, media, demonstrations, “making deals”, ect will all bring reality to the Trumpsters. He’s a liar with no principles. How can things NOT change with that going on? After all, what kind of mischief can a Democrat running as a Republican cause a party?
