Amazon.com, the popular online retailer, is reportedly under pressure from shareholders to stop selling products associated with Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee for president.
According to the New York Post, a group claiming to represent 1,500 Amazon shareholders has asked CEO Jeff Bezos to end its marketing of Trump shirts, hats, ties and other products promoting the Trump campaign.
“This isn’t about politics: Donald Trump’s misogyny, racism and outright bigotry are dominating the political news cycle,” shareholder group UltraViolet said in a letter to Bezos.
The letter noted the continued presence of Donald Trump products “poses a risk to Amazon’s reputation.”
A spokesman for Amazon, which holds its annual shareholder meeting May 17, declined to comment to the Post.

It’s a simple answer Amazon, go with them and your business suffers (starting with me), stand up to them and you’ll be a hero, which will reflect in your bottom line.
I bought two of those quite a while ago and not too long ago when going through junk, I opened the box. I didn’t realize the connotation when I purchased it. In the burner they went.
My family uses Amazon a lot. If they do this they will never see another order from us.

If Bezos is smart he wont take the bait and let it blow over. Why pee off about half or more of your customers for some PC crapola. Shut up and sell.....Walmart is smart in that they dont delve into the PC nonsense. Don’t mix business with politics unless politics is your business.

Bezo’s is a whore for cash, he won’t cut off a revenue stream... let someone else take the risk, prove it makes money and then crush them and take over the business? Sure... but he won’t cut off cashflow.
That’s 1500 Amazon shareholders who don’t understand anything about business and who don’t mind reducing the value of everyone’s shares as well as their own in pursuit of a selfish political agenda. Or, put more succinctly, idiots.
Some times I wonder how people even leave their homes each day and get anything done. The research alone to find out who to buy a bag of carrots from must take weeks to complete.
How many shares do they control - 1,500? Also note the underlined.
Let’s do the math. 10M votes for Trump and climbing. Likely to clear 12M. VS 1,500 in this ultra-left Ultraviolet group. That’s a ratio of 8,000 to 1. Amazon would be insane to side with this group.

If they stopped selling Trump gear? Folks should be going to the campaign website and buying higher quality and made in the USA, and supporting the campaign at the same time. Seems to me that would help the campaign and hurt Amazon.
Just different divisions in Satan’a army. They may squabble among themselves for power, but they KNOW who their enemy is.
