Turd burglars?
There is nothing as pleasing as a load of freshly washed and folded diapers. It’s really not that much work. It just becomes part of your routine. I had 4 kids in 5 years and generally had 2 in diapers at the same time. No problem whatsoever. They are the best when you can dry them outdoors on a line. I could do that for my first 2 kids, but then I moved to a house with no clothesline (and no place to put one) and had to use the dryer.
The bigger problem is finding the right plastic pants to guard against leaks.
If you can’t afford diapers you can’t afford kids.
How about BOOB access..?
1. I don’t have any at all
2. I like them
3. 50% of humanity has them
Diaper Advocate..just another term to describe someone who has NO job, NO life, and thinks about nothing except poop
THANK YOU! It burns my butt also to see that word used in place of “paid for by taxpayers”.
ACCESS means a door or entrance!
(I just ‘accessed’ my property tax today, then I ‘accessed’ the grocery store, then I ‘accessed’ the gas station, thankfully, I also ‘accessed’ the ‘distilled liquid’ store)
Perhaps it should be spelled “axest”?
Kush
At the least, the recipients of such largess, should be required to recycle (or make ready for recycling) these gifts of poo and pee receptacles.
Exactly what I was thinking. Buy cloth diapers, and do the laundry-cheap, and doesn’t lead to poopy plastic in the landfills.
In fact, I had to do the diapers for my first child by hand, because we didn’t have a washing machine, and rarely had the money to go to the Laundromat.
Dreft, boiling water, and sometimes a little bleach. Hung them up to dry outdoors. Air and sunshine does wonders too.
I have all of the supplies to switch back in case of emergency / prepping, and I did it for a few months.
The wetness wasn’t a problem. My wife and I can detect a wet diaper over the phone - seriously, our baby has never been in one for more than a few minutes while I found a restroom.
The diaper industry calls “Number 2” the “Insult”. True story.
It was the “insult” that caused so much of our dismay. The disposables did a far better job with volumetric give .. that, in turn, created a more sanitary condition for my daughter.
Since we both work at home a diaper schedule is never a problem, and the little one never goes for more than a minute without being totally clean. I’ve never experienced diaper rash, nor any of the other classic maladies.
The disposables just made the area cleaner in our experience.
I used cloth diapers as well. I learned how I could have saved even more money with the last baby-wish I had found out sooner. You can fold men’s t-shirts for diapers, the arms wrap around to the front and make it easy to pin and the stretchy fabric holds every thing in nicely. For a cover you can cut a thrift store fleece blanket into a sort of hour glass shape leaving long ties on the back-wrap it around and tie it to hold the front in place. The system was breathable and better than some of my more expensive covers and inserts. Tutorials for folding the shirts and cutting the blanket online. Easy peasy.
Second hand t-shirts and blanket and you are good to go for very little money.
I suspect that most of them wouldn’t know how to use them and would throw them away after one use .... just saying, I’m surprised daily about the level of ignorance of our youth.
Yeah, both need to be hauled to the land fill...
It's sad that people who care ONLY for how many freebies they can get, or idleness to get away with, are allowed to vote.
The results are predictable.
The indolent have overloaded the wagon, and the producing taxpayers pulling the wagon by now may be outnumbered.
What the ignorant Hillary and Sanders "supporters" are so enthusiastic and thrilled that their debts and idle life will continue to be paid for by the working taxpayers who pay much more than they receive, is impossible.
Unfortunately, reality, history and experience teaches us unequivocally that if this "works" at all, it will be only once, before the house of cards collapses.
Idiots can vote themselves gibmedats, but they CANNOT create the money to pay for it by simply voting.
When reality arrives and the interest of the national debt matches the real taxes collected, mass poverty and universal starvation is the only possible result.
The result of THAT is just civil war by another name, or simple riots.
I thought plastic was bad for the environment? Where’s all those guys on that one?
What’s wrong with cloth, like in the old days, if you haven’t the money.
At the very least why should the rest of us pay for someone else’s diapers?
Obama has Sh!t for brains, so this is most appropriate. More freebies for the gibsmedats.
And they're cheap.
Hell, I didn't even SEE a disposal diaper until the mid 80's.
The irony of this is that I would think liberal leftist tree huggers’ concern for the environment would require that they use cloth diapers, and not disposables that are made from tree products, “dangerous” chemicals, and fill up landfills...
Those cloth diapers are for rich people.
Same reason that food stamps aren’t restricted to “healthy” foods.
