Wasserman-Schultz was interviewed on Bret Baier's program last night, transcript not up yet or I'd link to it, interesting only to see the current state of mind on how to beat Trump. The attacks in mind are based on strawmen plus the "he can't win the general election, see poll in Miami."
I was going to give you a heads up. Figured you were asleep. I could see it was heading towards you.
Stay safe..hope it doesn’t hail on your son’s new house/roof.
Exit poll of DEMs in West Virginia, 35% of them would vote for Trump over Hillary in the general. Hahahahaha. WV goes GOP anyway, but that exit poll is funny.

I don't want to hit Crazy Bernie Sanders too hard yet because I love watching what he is doing to Crooked Hillary. His time will come!

Big wins in West Virginia and Nebraska. Get ready for November - Crooked Hillary, who is looking very bad against Crazy Bernie, will lose!
Heh - I was just going to post those tweets. “Crazy Bernie,” your turn is coming!
GMTA.
If it wasn’t breakfast time, it would be time to make some popcorn.
do you know how good was turnout for this primary?
WALLACE: Paul, does evening that it's important that the party be unified going forward?MANAFORT: Well, he thinks it's important that the country be unified and that his appeal be presented in such a way that his message is clear. But, of course, he is the head of the Republican Party, he wants the party to get behind him and support him. ...
WALLACE: But, Paul, there are real differences between Trump and Ryan. Ryan is said to be offended by some of the things that your candidate has said about women and Muslims and Hispanics. There are substantive differences on issues like trade and entitlement reform.
How far is Trump willing to go to sign on to the agenda of Paul Ryan?
MANAFORT: Well, let's make something very clear. Donald Trump just won a Republican primary. He won it overwhelmingly.
The largest turnouts in the history of Republican voters in all of the primaries and he is the historic leader now of getting votes as a Republican nominee. So, it's his agenda that has just been cemented as what the American people or at least Republicans and independents who voted for him want.
There will be a process. There will be meetings of minds. There's a lot that unites the leadership in the Congress as well as Donald Trump.
But the important thing to remember is the national titular head of the party is the nominee of the Republican Party. He just won that overwhelmingly, faster than anybody in Washington thought and running as an outsider against Washington.
So, his agenda is the people's agenda. He made it very clear. His vision was clear. He articulated it very well. There is no doubts to where he stands.
Fox News Sunday Transcript - May 8, 2016
In a later interview, not with Wallace, Trump indicates that he doesn't expect uniformity in agreement.
Seems a good chunk of the meeting will be to discuss coordination, the mechanics of the convention and the general election campaign. IOW, the meeting isn't for the purpose of getting Ryan on board. I think the meeting agenda is being set by Trump.
Since Trump essentially clinched the GOP nomination with a win in last week's Indiana primary, his staff has moved quickly to put its stamp on the party's general election planning process. Wiley has paid several visits to the party's headquarters on Capitol Hill to assess its efforts, according to the sources. The campaign also has been discussing convention-related issues with the RNC, including credentials and rules, the sources said, adding that the campaign is expected in the coming days to formally deputize a staffer as a liaison to the national party committee.
Trump aides huddle with RNC to plot big-money strategy - POLITICO - 05/09/16
Trump supposed to be coming up right after the brief news report.
TRUMP ON Faux and Friends in the next couple minutes, 7am!
May I add..
Exit polls showing DEM, 35% for Trump, 45% for Hillary (that is fraction of DEMs, not election outcome) - Trump has heard it, is not that surprised. Trump doesn't know how Hillary gets any votes. And then there is that Crazy Bernie character. Trump likes that Bernie people will vote for Trump.
Do you have a game plan against Bernie, and a misspeak "if Biden is indicted" Hehe - somebody expects Biden to run. Trump thinks it would be easier to beat Bernie, he's a socialist, high taxes.
"Crazy Bernie is trending (twitter, I presume)
Plays Wasserman Schultz - talk about embarrassing is that Trump doesn't have the support of his own speaker, either Bush president, many US senators questioning attending the convention because Trump is radioactive.
Trump says she is a terrible spokesman, and he hopes she stays in that position. Looking forward to meeting RNC tomorrow, if we make a deal great, we go forward, if not, we trudge on.
Trump says he understands the Bush family sitting it out, he hit them hard. What about the pledge? Jeb lied about the pledge. Also hits Lindsey Graham on strategy against ISIS. It's okay that Bush and Graham are dishonorable (on the pledge).
Kilmeade bring up the wall, policy on Muslims, and not disavowing David Duke fast enough. Trump says he disavowed Duke, people want the wall, forget about polling, I want to do what is right. What about temporary Muslim ban? We are going to figure out what is going on (Syrians in particular, pouring in by the thousands, look at Germany and Sweden), and I want to be careful and vigilant. Says there is a problem, and we want to study it. Obama refuses to discuss radical Islamic terrorism, which is a real problem. Thinking of setting up a commission headed by Guiliani, to study this.
Not going to announce VP until convention? Well, I have a list. Those who say they have decided not to take the spot are not on the list. Why not announce until convention? Tradition, suspense.
Holds through commercial break ...
Listening now
Doocy asks Trump about Facebook bias, suppressing conservative stories. Trump says the accusation (implied, if true)is terrible, Facebook denies it, but many people report it. He says he hasn't found it, he has 8 million followers on Facebook.
What will Trump do to make the VA system better? System is terrible - we are going to make it possible for veterans to use local doctors, and we (feds) will pay the bill.
Carson on education, any highlights to disclose? Praises Carson, says Carson is also involved in VP committee. No particulars on education.
Any nickname for Sasse? Not yet. Sasse is a nasty person, he has a nasty mouth. Hopefully he has no need to nickname him.
End of interview. No bombshells. Trump sounds rested, happy.
Thanks—have been watching.
