As I said, we will agree to disagree. There is no perfect VP candidate. Trump needs someone who will complement him and provide expertise in those areas where Trump is weakest. He/she must also be perceived as capable of being President.

Die hard WV democrats are conservative, but has always voted dem due to union influence. They have always believed that they have to have the unions to keep the mines open and the salaries high. Otherwise they are just naive Christian people whose pappy was democrat and grandpappy was democrat, and “by gum I will be democrat till I die.” The Tea Party explosion opened a few eyes and began the process of removing democrats from power in WV. After 80 years of dem rule, we elected a Republican House & Senate. Hillary, bless her heart, has almost finished the job by saying out loud that she would put the mines out of business and take their jobs. Don’t know how long it will last.

You’re lucky if you see anything at all. WV Secretary of State is a dem. and I’m sorry to say I think she’s been reelected. She is terrible at her job and we have tried to primary her for two cycles to no avail. People will vote the down ballot according to name recognition.
Yep Jim Justis won the Dem vote, but he still have to beat Bill Cole who got more votes.

Well, it was high and dry in Central TX until 2:00 am. Now it’s hailing and raining and thundering..just small hail so far...Thought it wasn’t gonna get this far south, but it’s just ballooning up out of nowhere about 35 miles SSW of us.

We are having one heck of a storm! The lightening and thunder are extreme, and it’s pouring. We haven’ t had hail yet, but weather alert is saying we may experience hail with this storm.
My sons family moved into their new home yesterday! I’m glad they’re not moving today!

I don’t mind the rain, but the lightening seemed to be right on our back porch! The thunder was almost simultaneous! Our temperature was in the low 90’s yesterday, so summer is on the way!

This garden area is a jungle of weeds. Ground was.ready to plant a month ago but its been too wet. Hope.to get some of it done today
