Sounds like things are finally going in the right direction.

Excellent. It's definitely time for Republicans to unite behind Trump and focus on defeating Hillary and the Democrats.

Paul Ryan is about to find out that Trump isn’t just another establishment pussy.

Doesn’t matter. Paul RINO is being Cantored. This time next year he’ll be peddling influence on Wall Street instead of Washington.

We had high hopes when Ryan emerged on the scene years ago. What a disappointment he is..

Ryan made a really big JV mistake, should not have allowed gas to be poured on the “disunity” story line.

He has two choices, save his career or not. I think we are now seeing the former.

I want him to dump Ryan. Ryan hates veterans.

Sky Pilot has the background on this one. Ryan is a living, breathing contradiction of one of Trump’s basic promises...to protect the vets.

Paul Ryan is done. He will not be reelected in his State. It is sad, but the GOPe establishment better realize that Trump will be the President and don't play games. The public wants the GOP cleaned out and to be a real conservative party again. Right now much of the party in Washington is very liberal and that is why anything King Obama wants he gets. It is destroying America.

Trump for President.

They’re trying to get Trump to moderate his positions on trade and illegals. The media, Ryan, and the Never Trump GOP elites are masquerading it as getting Trump to become more conservative though. Don’t fall for this. It’s a total crock of crap.

Ryan has joined Rubio, Bush and Cruz ruining their political careers fighting Trump unnecessarily. Hopefully Hillary Clinton will be next.

The article does not quote Paul Ryan as saying anything “conciliatory”. Offering to step down as chairman of the Convention could be seen more as digging in his heels in his unwillingness to endorse Mr. Trump. As in “I am sticking with my refusal to endorse you, so you want someone else to be chairman, that’s fine with me.” What is conciliatory about that?

By the way, is “not ready” something like voting “present”?

And Mr. Ryan appeared to reciprocate, saying he would step down from his position as chairman of the Republican National Convention in July Speaker of the House and resign from Congress if that is what the party’s presumptive nominee requests.

Fixed it to account for Trump's opening negotiating stance.

Ryan should either announce that he supports the party’s nominee or resign as convention chair. Period.

Saying he’ll resign only if Trump asks is simply another chickenshite move by Ryan.

Is Ryan’s end goal re-election or employment by lobbyists?

Ryno better get conciliatory — not Trump. 10.6 million voted for the party nominee— WE WIN!! Ryno loses. You better drop that arrogant attitude Ryno or else you may get CANTORED real bad.

Time for Ryan to get his @ss kicked by Nehlen. There’s not a dime’s worth of difference between him and a democRAT.
