Romney seems intent on sinking the GOP for good, just like he did with his own campaign. It is time to remind all these Trump-haters that their continued NeverTrump speech only helps Hillary...how stupid can you idiots be to not realize what you are doing. Have you forgotten how Ross Perot put Bill Clinton in the White House...what the hell is wrong with you idiots???????????????????
When the campaigning first began, I thought of Cruz in the Supreme Court, but the way he has turned out, I don’t think so now...
I don’t think that the speaker of the house calling Cruz an s.o.b. was exactly a ringing endorsement.
Romney is on some kind of ego trip, thinking he’s powerful enough to derail the guy who might outdo him in the presidential election category. We should just stop paying attention to him. There’s a remote possibility he’ll go away. Very remote.
Not to be a party pooper... but does anyone remember how Trump supporters trashed a good man (Cruz) to get their man in this position?
That said, I will vote for Trump over Hillary. I still have my reservations, though. I would love to hear him talk about his view of the law and Constitution. Out of all of the problems we have in this country, not following the law is top of the list. Trump talks a lot about what he wants to do... but very little about restoring the rule of law. That bothers me.

I remember. And as I’ve said before several times Trump is the second scariest man on the planet (after Putin). No one really knows what he will do. Maybe not Trump himself. He has a major turn off personality and I could fill reams of !@#$$%&^$%^&#$%^#$%
But I’ve decided that I will not sit out. I will also vote for him. No third party!!!
Cruz also voted for Corker bill which perverts the Constitution. He may be “good” for a Senator, though.
Wow....interesting to see how you BOTH cloak your disdain and “concern” for Trump (could you possibly describe him with MORE vitriol), over your admiration of a lying, cheating Senator....by throwing in the “but I’ll vote for him” line.
No sale.
I really dislike Trump. For so many reasons. But he’s immeasurably better than Clinton. Especially in regards to judicial appointments. I will vote for the candidate I dislike least. And this year, it’s no contest that I dislike Trump the least.
I hope you are right. I think we will know by November.
Good point. Perot dropped out of the race.
I feel like Romney is the GOP’s “Washington Generals”. He is put there to intentional lose elections.
What Trump is pulling off is a massive public empowerment, against the control freaks who have infested our lives while claiming to be keeping their hands off our junk.
What's great is that the event is so unusual, the press can't keep their eyes off it! The cycle is self-feeding, and it is so because of the personality of Trump, the anxiety and excitement he causes in "the usual suspects," and ratings. I can;t think of any other person who could possibly trigger this sort of event - and as a sign that it is genuine and will work, Trump's message hasn't changed, he's not being "phony," and he hasn't stepped too hard on his own crank.
It's not as though Trump is the first person to talk like this. I can find articles going back decades that express the same sort of thing (James Burnham, Suicide of the West, to name one from 1970's), but the politicians and enabling press are marching to the trans-nationalist drummer.
Someone observed last night on Fox that the more these elite Republicans trash Trump, the more it helps him in his outsider status. At some point it’s got to stop but I’m not sure it hurts him at all-especially with the moderate Democrats; certainly it doesn’t hurt with my Democratic relatives.
I can think of several persons who could have deconstructed the Democrat Party from their side. But, I agree, Trump is about it for the good guys.
The uniparty wants to maintain its corruption and privilege.
If Romney spoke and no one paid attention would he make a sound?
Sen.Ted Cruz IS NOT a good man. He basically lynched Dr.Carson’s Iowa campaign by telling lies. Recently he has been caught telephoning California delegates and offering bribes if they will not vote for Trump at the Cleveland Convention.
2ndDivVet explained to me that Cruz was “smart” for doing that type of thing; it was in the rules. Whereas to Trump it was dishonest but hey! He is a businessman and you do not cheat your business partners.
Americans tend to like “fairness”, not just in their sports but also in their politics.
