Got lucky for once. Here on time and haven’t pulled up any bird nest cams yet to distract me. LOL!

Yeah, it hurts to get up early but it’s only once in a while. Cruise-ins are better because they’re in the afternoons.

No saddle shoes and poodle skirt. Going to be too hot for them tomorrow. Sleeveless top, pedal pushers, and flip flops are the fashion for the day.

Ugh. Coffee. LOTS of Coke will wake me up ..... eventually. :-)

Bummer about the day not going all that well, especially AJ getting hacked off at your mom.

Reckon it’s ever going to sink in tonight that you don’t have to get the food for tomorrow?

A STRING QUARTET + 1

MENDELSSOHN: QUINTET IN B-FLAT, OP. 87, ALLEGRO MOLTO VIVACE

Felix liked his chamber works to go out with a bang, and this one is pure fun.

See you tomorrow night for the two greatest string quintets in the repertory.

Mendelssohn: Quintet in B-flat, Op. 87, fourth movement

No shooting this weekend but soon. We're waiting for our other shooting buddy, my nephew, his cousin, to get back from a visit to his Mom for Mother's Day.

Flip-Flops? In a Classic Chevy? Say it ain't so! :-)

I kinda figured you’d be distracted and it would help the odds. :-)

I expected PRO to get the jump on it because he’s a pro at it. LOL

You’d mentioned the possibility of going this weekend and I didn’t know if it was going to work out or not. Y’all will get there eventually.

I live in flip flops once it warms up. Too much of a tenderfoot to go barefoot and they’re the next best thing. I can’t stand shoes.
But since it’s chilly now, I did wear the saddle shoes this evening when we went out.
