I caught a brief glimpse of Rush discussing Trump’s candidacy on O’Reilly last night. His demeanor was shocking. The gray pallor was undeniable, made him look ill, physically and spiritually. So disturbing.

I didn’t see it. As annoyed as I was at him, I truly hope he’s ok. I heard rumors that his wife is quite ill. I really hope she recovers quickly and that Rush is happy again.

I just re-played that video clip of Rush you described from O'Reilly's show last night (I have it on DVR). The lighting was bad, not even "professionally" lighted... It looked like an amateur video. Actually, I'm pretty sure it was a clip from Rush's DittoCam.
Despite that, Rush looked tanned and healthy. O'Reilly's graphics people purposely "grayed out" the tail end of that Rush video, just for dramatic effect.
I saw nothing disturbing at all about Rush's physical appearance, as you described.
