Don't expect to see Mitt Romney at the Republican Party's national convention this summer.
An aide to the GOP's 2012 presidential nominee confirms that Romney isn't planning to attend the convention where Donald Trump is expected to become the Republican Party's 2016 presidential nominee. The aide spoke on the condition of anonymity to share internal discussions.

Your joke made me think about it more. Knowing how vain Mitt is, he may not go to the convention; but I’ll bet you he sends either his wife, Ann or Tagg, the older son. They may even be wearing a camera and mike. These two are Mitt’s closest advisors, and will function well as proxies. Trump did the same thing last week at that Media Roast/ Nerd Prom with Obama bloviating untethered for an hour. Eric Trump, son of Donald was in attendance with his wife.
It is so obvious from the votes what the people want — how dare these horrible people throw tantrums because they’ve been told they can’t have it their way. No one told them they’re supposed to be working for US, not the other way around. How dare they.

Romney is nothing but an Obamacare Governor and a failed candidate. He is no leader of the party, he just assumed the role.
