Well, pooey. I know you were hoping to go somewhere different. But if everything you need is provided there, I guess it makes sense to stay.
Still not like living in your own place like before though. :-(

It sounds like you survived another pay day. Whew! MAYBE next week won’t be quite as bad. We can hope, any way.
What an ordeal to get to your desk, though. I hope this isn’t going to be a regular occurrence!

Hey there radu!
It is nice being in my own bed again and it did remind me of how much care and attention dogs need.
Heck, with cats, you can leave for a few days as long as they have food and water and a clean litter box. Of course when you return, they'll put you on a guilt trip for having left in the first place but at least you can bribe them with a can of tuna or some treat.
Brrr, it was cold today, dropped into the 70's, I had to put long pants back on :-)
Howz the Cooper boy doing?

Well that explains why your tummy wasn’t a good alarm system. It’s timing was knocked out of whack by the late lunch. LOL!

Please disregard my rant on the trains. When I got to Union Station this evening, they announced several times that the Brunswick Line trains were being held due to a fallen tree near Garrett Park. After posting, I went to the news and learned that a man was struck and killed by a freight train in the southern part of Rockville, MD, several miles north of the Nuclear Free Zone.
A fatality on the tracks closes the tracks for several hours. I can't understand why the people at Union Station could not impart the true reason for the delay. Well, actually I do know why, and it's despicable.

Yeah, critters do take up your time with demands for attention. And dogs don’t use litter boxes like cats do.
When I had only a couple of cats - - EONS ago - I’d occasionally go off for a weekend and do what you said. Left out plenty of dry food and water and plenty of clean litter I the box.
Can’t do that with as many cats as we have now so I don’t get to go anywhere. Hubby sometimes goes off for a weekend to big car shows to help his buddy who has a couple of rare Fords.
Shoo, you were still warmer than we were. It was 67 degrees when I left to pick up Cooper and 54 when I got home. A cold front came through, with lots of rain, while I was out.
Cooper’s doing fine. He was first for surgery this morning so was wide awake when I picked him up. I seem to be forgiven. :-)

Dang, you ARE THE CAT LADY!!
Heck, when I would have our cats fixed, it would take DAYS and many treats before I was forgiven!
