But we'll get into all that. Let me give you one little thing: My instinctive feeling right now is that Trump is gonna win, beat Hillary badly, that it could be landslide proportions.
I still don't think people understand why Trump won this. I don't think they understand at all the reason people support Trump. And the deeper people are entrenched in politics, and the more they are accustomed to the templates and the handbooks and the theories and the playbooks, the less they're gonna understand it. The more they try to plug Donald Trump and his campaign and his personality into the professional politician candidate playbook that they use, the farther and farther from the truth they are going to get.
I've tried to help. During the course of this entire campaign, I've gone to great lengths to try to explain to people what it is about Trump, why he has his supporters, why they support him, and what you have to do to separate them from Trump. Basically, you can't. That's the bottom line. There's nothing any professional politician can do. They've done everything that they knew how to beat a candidate. They threw everything they had at Trump. I mean, the negative ads that they ran against him, these #NeverTrump guys and their PACs in all these states?
In indiana alone the amount of money spent on negative ads against Trump? And it didn't work. And in their world, negative ads always work. So they're out there scratching their heads today. You've got #NeverTrump people saying, "I said I was never gonna vote for Trump, and I'm never gonna vote for Trump -- and I mean it." You've got some people thinking about looking for third-party candidate. Others, it's a matter of honor, a matter of principle, to never vote for Trump. But they're caught between that and Hillary Clinton becoming president.
Personally, I have never thought that Hillary Clinton would be president. And I have never understood this morbid fear the Republican Party has had in believing she is nearly impossible to beat.
The woman is a colossal loser, in character, in policy, and in likability.
Donald Trump will annihilate her.
I get the distinct impression that Rush was pulling for Cruz, though he made a point not to make it to overt.
I haven't listened to him in years, but today I turned on the radio for a little while. Rush was discussing how utterly vile people treated Cruz in this campaign, and he opined that it was not warranted or deserved.
Rush nailed it in my opinion. What was done to Cruz was just vile. It was just wicked.
But I think Rush realized a long time ago that Trump would make a powerful candidate in the General election. Trump puts New York into play, and possibly a lot of other New England states that normally don't support a Republican.
Trump will bring a fight to Hillary in every state. He's going to fry her like bacon. Perhaps she will even stroke out.
Her public appearances here in Indiana were tiny numbers compared to Trump and Burney.
Carefully managed small venues with a lot of political hacks and union members brought in. And all the Indiana Dems who endorsed and campaigned for her (Evan Bayh, Joe Donnelly, Joe Hogsett, Andre Carson) couldn’t put her past the crazy old guy. A major embarrassment.
I hope he wipes the floor with her like a bad hard drive rag.
This false narrative needs to cease. He was never an anti Trump ant Cruz or anti everything. Just because someone is critical of one or the other doesn’t make them anti this or that. Some around here have gotten worse than an Obama supporter that anyone critical the first scream is RACIST!! Utterly ridiculous

Looks like she will be a stalking horse; her role will be to take fire until July 28 and then another candidate will be slipped in at the convention. She probably has offered to step aside peacefully for a pardon, among other things. The pardon will come the last day of Obama’s term.
People hear what they want to hear and God forbid anyone have a mind of their own that runs contrary to der leader. If you get a whiff of plantation straying SMACK they’re there to whip you back to shape.

I voted Cruz in the TN primary. Later regretted it. After
the Obama mess we’ve had for almost 8 yrs.; I will walk
barefoot over rough gravel to get to the polls & vote for
TRUMP. Have voted for the GOPe choice too many times &
watched them throw the election away in favor of the
corrupt Democrat.
None of the others either get this, or care about it, or present any ideas about fixing it. And the people really get this.
Hillary doesn't. Neither does Bernie. Neither does Cruz, or Kasich, and definitely not any of the hard-core commie RINOs. If any of them had a clue about what the voters are thinking, they would have tried to fake a suitable set of lies in response. They just don't have a clue.
Trump does have a clue about what a closed factory means, what 94 Million people out of work means, what one-way trade agreements mean, to the real live voting, working Americans trying to survive this economic holocaust.
All the people who had no hope against the inhuman establishment machinery (of both parties) for the past two or three decades are now coming forth with their pitchforks, boiling oil, torches, and guillotines; and their votes. And they are very angry. Not the fake outrage of liberal pansies, but the real, righteous anger of people who were targeted for genocide; and now they have a chance to fight back and win.
I hate to tell Rush I have said for months Trump will win in a landslide. This isn’t rocket science.
Rush can certainly say he did his part to try to keep Trump from the nomination. Yesterday Trump supporters were brain dead. Today Trump will win in a landslide. :-)
