Kasich is far left of Trump. Cruz to the right of Trump. Most of Kasich votes in Indiana went to Trump. I don't think Cruz was blunted by him.

Trump only cares about winning. If he has to pick a liberal running mate or flip-flop all his changed positions back to when they were more liberal in order to win, he will do it. He has few if any core values.

If you want to refight the primary you’ll lose again. Best to drop it, IMO.

If you weren’t already questioning Trump’s sincerity on those issues, you weren’t paying attention.

-Trump praised socialized medicine many times

-Trump in 2012 said Romney’s self-deportation plan was too tough and told Fox & Friends we needed to give the “good” illegals legal status

-Trump supported banning assault weapons in his book

-Trump said “Kim Davis” needed to “follow the law” after she was jailed

It’s not about fighting, it’s about speaking the truth. I will always fight the fog of fantasy and falsehoods about any candidate whether they are elected, unelected, right, left or in-between.

I’ve posted several times if Trump wants to be consistent and reinforce his sincerity on his political “evolution,” Rick Santorum is a smart choice for him.

NO... Santorum can be ambassador to Puerto Rico. Cruz can be ambassador to Cuba. Ka-sick can stay in Ohio.

Trump supporters have to be delighted at this news.

Gonna let them sour grapes ferment in your mouth or roll up your sleeves and work against Hillary?

Perspective:

Trump Delegates so far: 1057

All others combined delegates: 914 (8 others have delegates)

Delegates available: 464

I'd much rather be in the position of having my guy lose but "our" guy win than have to concede to Hillary - she's the only enemy that counts right now.

Reality check - using the words "would consider" have no weight except to folks that want to interpret them as "definitely would/will".

The good news is that Hillary is in a panic trying to choke the life out of Bernie because she knows Trump can now turn his focus on her while she still has to deal with "the other Lefty"....we should be glad it panned out the way it did instead of having our nominee dealing with other crap for the next couple months.

I think Duncan Hunter would be a good choice.

“I think Duncan Hunter would be a good choice.”

Agreed. Actual ability and values matter a whole lot more than campaign flair. Trump doesn’t need someone to help him get noticed, but it would be nice to have a VP we can trust.

Yep, those dark-horse VP picks did not do so well, even though Quayle was on a winning ticket in 1988.
