I’m listening to Rush today, and he’s almost unlistenable.
His description of Cruz and Trump are so far off the mark it’s just downright painful.
Rush was flummoxed by Cruz. He bought Ted’s act hook line and sinker, and is still reeling over Ted’s withdrawal.
He just stated that Trump is not a Conservative, and doesn’t think like a Conservative.
With qualifications I might buy into that, but frankly a blanket statement like that is simply false.
Trump has all of Reagan’s platform within his own. He has added to it and the additions are also Conservative. So declaring Trump not a Conservative, means that Reagan wasn’t one either.
Address an individual policy, and I’ll entertain consideration.
Make a blanket statement, and you reveal yourself to be nothing more than a delusional Cruz stooge.
Rush is helpless right now.
Reagan, as others have opined through the recent years, probably wouldn’t be seen as a conservative in today’s environment.
