Trump is the GOP nominee
Politico ^ | May 4, 2016 | Ben White |

As predicted in this space yesterday, Donald Trump rolled to a big win in Indiana and Ted Cruz dropped out of the GOP presidential race. Trump is now on track to hit the 1,237 delegates he needs to win the nomination on the first ballot in Cleveland in July. The focus now shifts to how Republicans will deal with the fact that Trump — who is neither a fiscal nor a social conservative — is their standard bearer. Some began on Tuesday to line up behind the Manhattan-based brand manager. The RNC officially acknowledged Trump as the victor. But there are plenty of big names — including Cruz — who have not lined up behind Trump and may never do so.

Dream on. The man has abysmal favorability numbers with every voting bloc except angry white men and there are not enough of them to put him anywhere close to the WH. I hope you and your girlfriend enjoy NY, but don’t wait for the victory party or she will be very unhappy.

Yeah, notice it’s Podesta issuing statement, not Hillary herself. Hillary is going to try to win the Presidency without leaving her lair. Last tonight she was silent, with only her campaign officials making WRITTEN statements! Cooper Anderson even wondered out-loud how wise that was.

It’s going to be fun to watch the invisible-Hillary “campaign” via intermediaries, while nearly all statements from the Trump campaign will be issued from the lips of Trump himself, which means Trump will be on the air ALL the time, and Hillary will almost never appear. This dichotomy will become evident to even the most clueless in a short while.

Due to poor health, Hillary does not have the ability to appear in public often, and when she does, it has to be small groups, not to mention that she performs extremely poorly unless she has all of the questions in advance and the answers memorized, she has no ability to speak extemporaneously, and when she does speak in person, she comes across as harsh, nonempathetic, and unlikable.

Hillary’s a disaster of a candidate, and Trump will eat her alive.

I caucused for Cruz here in Nevada, but I’m simply working with what we ended up getting. Trump earned his chance to go up against the Beast, Cruz didn’t.

Facts:

Trump haters have to decide whether they are going to vote policies and principles or whether to vote their personal dislike of Trump.

Oh, so NOW “they predicted” Trumps win...

Are these some of the same people who kept saying over and over and over that “Trump will never be the nominee”

A friend summed up the choices: cancer (Hillary) or a shotgun blast (Trump).

I told my relatives I would write in hrh Charles Edward Stuart.

This is why the tea party movement was intentionally decentralized with no true “leader”.

We are now exposing opportunists who viewed conservatism as a racket for personal profit.

I think you’re wrong redangus. Trump has way more cross party appeal the Cruz. Even Kasick has more cross party appeal than Cruz. In my heart I have no doubt he’s our best chance of beating Clinton, watch him turn those numbers upside down in no time at all. Those of us in the North East have known Trump a long time and we know he’s a good man and true American.

But it is what it is... The people have spoken.
Let’s Roll...

Last night. Daughter Ivanka couldn’t stop grinning, Son Eric and Wife Melania looked stunned as though they expected to the fight to go on for awhile.

There will BE no Constitution under Globalism (e.g., TPP, just to name one.) Trump is the only one who sees that, along with a handful of Freepers. Globalism must be halted and reversed and rejected by the USA. AMERICA FIRST is the ONLY way we keep our Constitution and our way of life.

If Cruz had been the winner, would not trump supporters have been expected to fall in behind cruz?

(just like McCain, Romney, dole, etc?)

These pundits would have been the first to demand voters remain (as Clinton says) on the reservation.
