Former 2016 Republican presidential candidate speaks out on 'Hannity.'

Support for a speech??? Good Lord, you grasp at straws. Can you name politicians who roundly condemned Obama's speech (which included sympathies for the victims)? I think not.
and Trumps call for the ban of evil black guns?
while he mentioned assault weapon bans as late as 2012, he further went on to clarify that (for example) an AR-15 was NOT an assault weapon. He may just be using the term 'assault weapon' correctly -- a first for a politician -- to mean full auto.
Watched Jindal last night.
He has come a ways from hating on Trump a while ago...
Realizes the approach is different than his and that that is what the voters are feeling about things politically. He is past the “vote for trump because hillary is bad” stage.
He has that “Trump can probably kick hillary’s ass” zeitgeist sinking in to his persona. It’s good to see.
It is good to see!
Ooops, sorry it’s just that conservatism is so bandied about now a days by so many fakers I don’t even know what it means any more:-)
OK time to reprogram myself.

Well that it for me but when I look at America today as a whole this bullet list seems insurmountable so I’ll Pray.
I could possibly take a rude crass candidate. I could possibly take a bunch of rude crass supporters. But I have my limits.
BTW, I considered at one point asking you how someone whose job description is that they be a lady could support such an ungentlemanly candidate so strongly.
Yep, I can think for myself perfectly well. As I said on another thread, the last time the GOP went protectionist and isolationist we got the great depression, WWII, 100,000,000 dead world wide and 20 years of FDR/Truman and the new deal. Along with the risk of that you want me to swallow insults and rudeness.
Insulting me as you did yet again is not really a winning strategy for you or your guy. I do not really have to take it.
Great strategy, I am sure you will convince many people with it.
Well one way the Dims have won the language since about 1930 is the idea that the president runs the country. Thankfully I know that the president runs the executive branch of the government and that is it.
The question is should I care about the executive branch of the government being run by a corrupt Clinton or a corrupt Trump. BTW, I see little difference between the GOP running a guy from MA or a guy from NY although the guy from MA at least had won a statewide election.
I did say on another thread that one point in Trumps favor is the whole culture and media are set up to stop a GOP ego maniac, but as we have seen with Obama is set up to encourage a Dim ego maniac. Still the combination of Trump and the Trump supporters particularly most of them here, has me leaning towards not voting.
One of the issues Trump and Cruz had in common was they both weren’t neocons. Remember Reagan won the cold war without one shot fired.
Not being a neocon is NOT an issue. Cruz is a conservative and Trump is a leftist. So I am not sure what you think is in common there.
Interesting that when Jindal bashed Trump (”he doesn’t read the Bible because he’s not in it”) Trump didn’t bash Jindal back, as he did to virtually all of the original candidates.
Did you notice this, and think it odd? He just referenced Bobby’s low poll numbers dismissively, and moved on.
I wondered at the time why Trump didn’t call Jindal a “loser” or worse.
Was it because he didn’t know enough about him to bash him?
Or because he does know Jindal’s solid conservative record, and respects him, and wants him on board?
I suspect it was the latter. Trump being savvy, holding his cards close.
If Trump offers Bobby a cabinet post, would it appease some of the #NeverTrump people? IMO it would certainly balance out some of Trump’s more liberal stances on social issues.
BTW Bobby Jindal’s pro-life stance is real and personal. This man actually helped his wife deliver their son, when the little guy decided to arrive a couple of weeks early. My admiration for the former LA governor is tremendous, for this and many other reasons.
1. Moral Monster Mitt Romney (hereinafter M3R) organized a business to PROFIT from the discreet disposal of the broken corpses of little abortion victims. This was at a time when pr-lifers had been embarrassing the abortion mills by photographing the grisly contents of their dumpsters and publishing the photos.
2, M3R, as a governor, crammed perversion posing as "marriage" down the throats (so to speak) of Massachusetts citizens when the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts merely ruled than a ban on pervert "marriage" was somehow "unconstitutional" under a state constitution written by John Adams in the 18th century. M3R threatened to personally sue any municipal or county clerk who refused to issue "marriage" licenses to lavender queens. The court had suggested that the legislature deal with the question but M3R just could not resist.
3. M3R, as governor, invented on a state level the abomination of Romneycare imposing upon Catholics (my faith) and many other pro-lifers and other morally traditional people a mandate to fund abortions, sex change operations, sterilization operations, birth control, and Lord knows (and will tell M3R directly some day) what other abominations in violation of religious liberty. He then sent his "experts" to help Obozo impose a similar Obozocare nationally.
4. M3R is a gun grabber.
5. Reflexively nominated leftists to judgeships.
Now whatever Trump's drawbacks and they are many, he is NOT a moral monster like M3R. He has supported Planned Barrenhood, been a pro-abort (in that matter, he was long honest in being a pro-abort but has now pledged not to be) and whether he is still a pro-abort remains to be seen. At least he understands that he must commit to pro-life as a price of election. Trump is no gun grabber. What he will do about Obozocare remains to be seen but we can rely on him not expanding it, not maintaining it as is and probably remove its offenses against religious freedom and conscience. He MAY appoint decent judges.
Of course, Her Satanic Majesty is an enthusiastic gun grabber, an utterly focused and fanatic pro-abort, a big cheerleader for sexually perverted anything and its practitioners, and will want to expand and revise Obozocare to make it even more of an abomination. Did I mention the appointments to SCOTUS? Consider it mentioned.
Thanks for taking the time to write your post. Glad to get confirmation that Mr. Jindal is a good man; one of us.
I didn’t notice that Trump had no real response to what Bobby had said, but I would tend to agree that your take on why not is the correct one.
Let’s hope Bobby Jindal ends up holding a key position in the Trump administration. We need him.
“stand together for what? Just to see an R over a D? No, we as a nation deserve whatever we get if its between these three. These three are the best we can do in this country?
#nevertrump
I am not voting for the lesser of two evils - not one more time!”
Just curious if the policy is in effect? It is horrid to see posters state their ‘never Trump’ tantrums. Thank you
Ok, and you can sit it out for the duration then.
Levin and Beck are hinting at a third party run. They didnt get the memo. Petulant turds.
#AlwaysTrump
This has been a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day for him, hasn't it...? ;)
