“Well, there goes D.C.’s three electoral votes!”

Never forget that Barbara Lett-Simmons disenfranchised a third of D.C. voters in the 2000 election.

Barbara Lett-Simmons, a Democratic elector from the District of Columbia, did not cast her vote in order to protest the lack of congressional representation for Washington, DC. Lett-Simmons was the first elector to abstain from voting since 1832.

It is Virginia that is the issue. I'm trying to think of a VP candidate that helps and the only ones that come to mind are Carson and Rubio. I'm not convinced either are ready to step in should something happen to Trump. It's really a shame that McDonnell exposed himself and his family to legal problems.
