Ted Cruz did the right and honorable thing by suspending his presidential campaign Tuesday night. John Kasich should follow suit. It’s time for the party to unite against Hillary Clinton.

Donald Trump’s massive win Tuesday in Indiana confirmed the trends of the last two weeks: A majority of GOP voters have decided he’s their nominee.

For any other candidate to keep fighting would only help Hillary...

Duncan Hunter would be a better choice for VP.

Maybe so. I haven't heard much about Hunter in recent years.

Respectfully disagree. Trump made this personal which was unnecessary. He ran a classic Dem campaign of personal destruction. Good luck unifying the people he insulted and degraded.

Trump will win Texas, and he doesn’t need Cruz to do it. I would like to see Cruz on the Supreme Court, but I think he would be a bad choice for VP after the campaign we just had. Kasich would be a worse choice, since Kasich is a democrat in all but name.

As a Cruz supporter, I will be voting for Trump. I will never lay down and let a marxist democrat take over my country. You’re scuffed up? Me too. Deal with it. The nation is more important than any of our feelings.

This cycle was simply a reminder the many that politics is a blood sport. Trump himself pointed this out during last night's speech when he mentioned he's been getting all sorts of calls from people who had nothing but venom for him during the contest but who now want to work with him. He asked how is it possible for them to now support him and they replied it'll be no problem at all.

This isn't the Rotary club or a collegiate debate. It's politics, folks. The focus is now on keeping Hillary from ever seeing the inside of 1600 Pennsylvania ever again.

They don’t need to be reached. Not enough of them to be worth the energy.

Remember when Trump ran the ad of his wife in Utah? Me neither.

That is so true. It’s like the Dems keeping the blacks on the virtual plantation for decades so they can control them. There’s a lot of power to be had in DC if strife is ongoing among “the little people”.

I’ve always believed Chief Of Staff would be perfect for Newt.

As VP, with his baggage, he’d not help the ticket and may even hurt it.

And Huck would be great as Press Secretary.

“Trump needs to patch things up with Cruz and make him V.P.”

VP needs to be able to step in as President. Cruz isn’t qualified.

Also, Trump could “patch things up” with Cruz, and he’d believe they were patched up. Cruz, OTOH, would be lurking around corners waiting for the opportunity to stab him in the back. Et tu, Cruz?
