Here in southern DE, I get my electricity from a coal burning power plant—Indian River.
And that coal comes from West Virginia.
Stayed in West Virginia a few years ago-—took my wife to Milton to see Blenko Glass.
Around 10:30 pm in the hotel, I hear this noise—it keeps building and building until it was almost deafening—yup, a coal train barreling down the mountain behind the hotel.
Good thing I love trains.
Not much she didn’t.
Poor woman.
She spends half her life turning her face away from him.
Now I see why.

One miner sat at the table with Hillary and told her to her face, “How can you say you are going to put the coal mines out of business and then come here and ask us to vote for you?” (paraphrase) Hill was taken aback and backtracked saying that’s not what she meant and she had misspoke. The miner later told a reporter that she didn’t convince him, he was voting for Trump. Then when Hill appeared where a crowd was gathered the folks were a bit feisty with cat calls and anti-Hill signs and some Trump signs. It was fun to watch.

The only thing I’ve seen that even comes close, is that weird “Bonanza” thing they have at the speedway every year...and there, they’re giving away millions of dollars worth of prizes and money.
