I certainly hope Trump will win in both states, get his 1237 needed delegates and GOPe will wake up and start supporting him, instead of attacking him and doing Hillary's work.

Cruz abandoned Indiana. Look at the internals of this poll for a clue as to why.

So Cruz bails on a full day in IN to go to CA?? That sure sounds like he’s admitting defeat in IN. Great choice Carly!

So Cruz’s campaign at this point is all about denying Trump the nomination. He is as delusional as Kasich if he thinks the guy who came in a distant second is going to wrest the nomination away from the frontrunner.

Either that, or he just wants to see the GOP burn.

Another article on this subject:

Cruz campaign in overdrive in desperate bid to wrestle Indiana from Trump

Cruz is done. His only hope for a future in politics is if he concedes now, instruct his delegates to support Trump at the convention.

Trump annihilated Cruz in that historic 5 state rout , the sweep of the 5 north eastern states.

Now Trump will do the same to Cruz in Indiana!

Go Trump! Bring back the factories back to the USA from China and stop rebuilding China!

Apparently Teddy picked up his whole campaign staff and fled the state for CA. Unreal! Just get out!

The media is eager to get at Trump alone. They’re also facing reality on Indiana. It’s truly over.

But, but, but Carley will help him a lot in California, where she exported tens of thousands of jobs to China.

Cruz has given up Indiana. Another of his “must win”, “firewall” states.

“California,” he said there, a bit hopefully, “is going to decide this Republican primary.”

LOL. Cruz moves the goal posts once more. Stick a fork in him, he's done.

It seems both Cruz and Clinton have the knack for driving down their own numbers wherever they campaign hardest. Both are better as an abstraction than as a person. Cruz does better as “the rock solid conservative” abstraction. Clinton does better as “the first woman President” abstraction. The real people behind these abstractions turn voters off the more they get exposed.
