Don’t like the need to sleep because it seems like wasted time. Could be doing something.
But once I do get to sleep, I hate waking up. Doesn’t matter if it’s been two hours or eight, waking up is HARD!
LOL
May is when the leaves pop out...like magic it is so pretty.
I do not see leaf buds yet, but I don’t see very many leafy trees.
Cooper’s doing well. He’s not going to get to wait three weeks to get snipped, though. He’ll get it done this next week - - Tues. morning, I hope. Maybe it’ll knock out some of his aggressiveness as well as tone the others down a little. That “real man” scent seems to set them off.
He’s sleeping on a kitteh bed on the back porch right now. I’ll let him in shortly, once supper has settled a little. Too much up and down when he’s inside, breaking up spats, for a full tummy.
Haven’t seen that variety before. There’s a lot of the large variety of the blue vinca around the farm that Hubby’s mom and aunts planted years ago. Hubby killed some of it off a few years ago and I put the halts to that! I like it!
YUM!! Brandywines!! They are soooooooo tasty!!
Have you tried Brandyboys? A hybrid of Brandywines and one of the Boys. Can’t remember if it’s Big Boys or Better Boys. They retained the scrumptious Brandywine flavor but are hardier due to the “Boy” in them. I’ve grown both in the past and had a better yield with the Brandyboys.
Good evening, radu, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
A nice day?
And they each have names and you know them all?
Whoa!
I’ve seen leaves start a little earlier a few times since watching that pond cam and hoped this would be another of those years. There are a few scrubby things starting to green up around the pond now but not many. I keep looking for that green “haze” to appear in the trees.
It’s beautifully green here now and it seems like it happened overnight. Now we’re waiting for Spring planting so our fields will green up too. They’re still drab brown.
Say whut?
Say whut?
Say whut?
Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...how is your settling in going? Did you find a ride to go pick up Blue?
A Blessed Lord’s Day and Shavua Tov to you and yours.
You and Lynn-Dah getting out for nice walks?
A quiet day here. Visited Aunt Clara at the nursing home and had my brain rattled. That part of the day wasn’t so quiet. LOL!
Cloudy all day and it was raining when I left the nursing home. I’ll have to make a store run later tonight since I didn’t get to make it when I left. Do not like shopping in the rain, bringing wet groceries into the house.
Kitteh count is now 35.
And of COURSE I know all their names. It’s a “mommy” thing I guess. LOL! Hubby can’t remember them all and makes up his own names for some of them.
And the kittehs all know their names AND nicknames.
lots of walks! the weather is gorgeous.
And we had our first cookout today on my new deck.
Ahhhh...Spring!
My B-I-L will drive me to my Brother’s house so I can liberate Blue from the garage...sometime next week, I guess.
AND...I went to some nifty Yard Sales today!
Good evening, Mac...*HUGSA*...and a Blessed Lord’s Day to the MacNessa family.
Did you and Daniel get some dirt time today?
My brother is in town for a few days and helping me with a bunch of 2 person projects.
Because of the oil prices, he got laid off, and a week earlier than expected. So he’s working on finding a new job before he leaves for his new home in Georgia. He and his wife just sold their home in Tennessee and are moving lock, stock, and 42’ sailboat to Georgia...closer to the water and wife’s granddaughter.
He’s got a couple leads and I get him for some home projects.
Thanks, Mac, for my favorite tank guns.
