Keep the Promise, a political action committee that supports Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz, said the Texas senator will be a "special guest" at a public rally it plans in downtown Fort Wayne on Monday.
The rally will be at 2 p.m. at Grand Wayne Center, with doors opening at 1 p.m. Also scheduled as speakers and guests are Utah Sen. Mike Lee, Texas Rep. Louis Gohmert and conservative talk-show host Glenn Beck.
The rally originally had been scheduled for Sunday. People wanting free tickets to attend the Monday rally must RSVP at the online event organization site Eventbrite.
The Washington Post reported this month that Cruz appears at Keep the Promise events "as a 'special guest,' an arrangement that takes advantage of the loose federal rules governing how campaigns and super PACs can interact."
Keep the Promise is having rallies for Cruz on Sunday in LaPorte and on Monday night in Indianapolis ahead of Indiana's primary election on Tuesday.
Just when I thought Beck couldn’t get any crazier, he pulled this.
I've noticed.
I'm so grateful that I tripled my usual quarterly donation.
How is it disrespectful to Christ? The original picture is not even Him.
We don’t know what Christ looked like as a man.
I don’t want to live in Beckistan!
Aw jeez...first the Satanists are upset because Boehner compared Cruz to Lucifer, and now this...
The title was: Cruz Rally Set for Monday. You editorialized the rest of the title you gave the article, so I guess you see words that aren’t there or you find it difficult to do a simple cut and paste. Putting the real title in the body copy doesn’t count.
but we no there is no collusion between the candidate and the pac .....
Will South Park do an episode of Glenn Beck overdosing on Cheesy Poofs?
The media drove me nuts today....no body agrees, everything is a guess....what's the point of their anal ysis.
Good! Show ‘em ted and beck, what real lunatics stand for!
Stabby the Klown is not a credible endorsement. LOL!
You’re just a nit-picking twit who worships Ted Cruz, you’re not fooling anyone.
Kooky Beck continues to campaign with Lyin’ Ted.
The myth of Lyin’ Ted of being super intelligent was indeed a myth.
“..what’s the point of their analysis?.”
To keep talking and make money.
Well... it's not the first time he has had this kind of coordination/appearance at a PAC meeting.
You sound like a noob that’s a wannabe moderator or just a bitchy Cruz supporter. LOL!
Not just no....but HELL NO!!!!
We don't need no steenking Canadian Establishmentarian whose wife authored the NO BORDERS/North American Union anywhere near SCOTUS!!!
That Cruz would couple himself to someone that clearly deranged says everything that needs to said of his judgement.
I’m not a beckophobe but Glenn’s acting extra-weird about Cruz sure didn’t help his campaign!
So true, Cruz bringing Beck on board says volumes about his judgment.
